Joe Allen admits his club future remains uncertain following a miserable campaign with Stoke City in the Championship.
The Potters - along with West Brom and Allen's former club Swansea City - were relegated from the Premier League last term after 10 consecutive seasons in the top flight.
In a bid to bounce back to the big time at the first attempt, Stoke were determined to retain the services of their key players while they also spent significant sums to take the likes of Tom Ince, Sam Clucas, James McClean and Oghenekaro Etebo to the bet365 Stadium.
Wales international Allen committed his own future to the Potters by signing a new four-year deal with the club following their relegation last year.

But after what's been a torrid campaign - one in which Gary Rowett was sacked by the club - that sees Stoke currently occupy 16th spot in the table, Allen is one of several players - including goalkeeper Jack Butland - that could leave Staffordshire in the transfer window.
And Allen admits he doesn't know what his future holds at club level.
"Who knows? I don't know what's going to happen this summer," the Welshman told BBC Radio Stoke.
"We're just going to have to wait and see what the summer brings for everyone.
"Honestly it's about the next two (games) and then I think it's about speaking to the club and seeing what's what and that's where I'm at.

Stoke City's Joe Allen
"I think people are expecting a lot of ins and outs for everybody really.
"It is difficult for me to talk further, it is about speaking to the club and seeing what is what and going from there."
The 29-year-old has been linked with several clubs including West Ham and Watford.
Allen will link up with Wales in Portugal at the end of May for a training camp as Ryan Giggs' side prepare for their Euro 2020 qualifiers against Croatia and Hungary in June.

I’d take him to replace Gunnars if we stay up even though he played for the jacks, PL quality and experience

Id take him in a heart beat tbh but I don't think he'd want to join us when our game is all about winning the second ball from long kicks, and bypassing the midfield whilst also being a more counter attacking team with a man marking system. I think he'd fit perfectly at Leicester City, or even teams like Bournemouth, Watford, Everton, or Wolves would be a good fit for him. We'll probably end up with Will Vaulks tbh

the played for Swansea thing has never bothered me and we have had some very good players who have also played for them.
they even have a statue of one who scored a hat rick for us against them.

I would take him and I think he'd fit in with Warnock's team.
Only really an option if we stay up but would be a great addition.
