Embarrassing Kelly Jones

I’m a big Stereophonics fan but Kelly on Talksport now is a bit cringey for me.

Banging on in his strong Welsh accent about being a massive Leeds fan and how he’s worried about them missing out on promotion FFS.

I listened, to be honest I was a huge stereophonics fan back in the day and the wife but never the same after Stuart left the sound wasn't the same and Kelly seemed to gather a big ego.

The thing is mate what you have to remember is that he from Cwmaman.

Unless he had a parent that was going to take him to Cardiff to watch us his Football education would have come from MOTD, Grandstand or whatever so like many youngsters at that time in S.Wales he's ended up supporting Leeds and tbf at least he's stuck with them.

Iv always said I was very lucky that my Dad took me and my brother to watch Cardiff, many of my mates never had that and supported Liverpool or Man Utd, many of them switched to us as we got old enough to go by ourselves but how much of that was down to the fact the Club was starting to improve who knows and if we were still bouncing round the lower divisions I doubt they would have gone. I'm not sure which us worse.

First album was excellent, 2nd was alright. The rest have been bloody awful

in all fairness he's done very well considering the small village he has no ego he comes down to Cwmaman a few times each year to see family and always has time to mix with people and drink in the local pubs
