Two arrests were made at Cardiff City's match against Liverpool after footage emerged of a Liverpool fan being 'chased out of the stadium', police have confirmed.

The Reds faced Cardiff City last Sunday and secured a 2-0 victory after James Milner's penalty.


Liverpool's win saw the Reds return to the top of the Premier League table , while Neil Warnock's side are now three points adrift of safety.

The video, which has been shared widely on social media, shows a Liverpool supporter being hounded out of the Cardiff City stadium by frustrated home fans after celebrating his team's second goal.


A witness at the stadium said the Liverpool fan had been sat in Cardiff seating and celebrate when Liverpool scored.


The clip shows the fan being escorted out of one of the home stands, while Cardiff fans follow in pursuit.


One shouts 'let's f****** have him' as a tussle breaks out.

A spokesman for South Wales Police confirmed two arrests were made in relation the incident.

The new footage follows the emergence of an earlier video that showed an altercation in the Canton Stand as a man was ejected from the stadium shortly after Liverpool's first goal.

many moons ago fans { hooligans/troublemakers } used to attempt to take home ends , to prevent this fences went up and security was increased firstly by extra police and then replaced by armies of stewards along with CCTV etc..

i find it absolutely mind boggling that yesterdays troublemakers have become todays protected species..

I remember it well watching it from the Grange End as a kid with it all kicking off around me. Like a war zone.

no such thing as an away end..if travelling you either wore no colours tried to blend in and keep your mouth zipped..or you were looking for trouble...as i said billions of pounds later you have home fans being arrested because away fans are starting to give it big again in the home ends ..??????????
