City have 0 points v top 8 teams

IMO that is just unacceptable. I accept the gulf in skill, fitness and technical quality/ability and of course the bad decisions we’ve had but it’s lamentable.

Ok City took 6 off both Saints & BHA but getting nothing out of 15 games (1 to go at MU) v the top teams has been catastrophic.

It’s been compounded by getting only 2 points versus Huddersfield and Burnley.

It’s a miracle there’s still a mathematical chance of survival but in reality that’s forlorn.

so not getting points in the toughest fixtures is catastrophic.

we all hope to pick up the odd shock win but its hope..like we all hoped to have done a bit better.
but that's a fans blue tinted glasses thing. strength of squad and budget both pointed to an early exit from the EPL and deep down everyone knew that .my fear was it would be worse.

to suggest its UNACEPTABLE to lose to teams with far superior quality ? I just don't know honestly

I know but surely we could have nicked a couple of draws here and there?.

What I think was unacceptable was only taking two points off Huddersfield, especially when one game they only had 10 men for most of it.

they had 11 men for an hour during which time they absolutely battered us.

Points against the top 6 are bonuses. The games against Huddersfield home and away, Burnley, Everton, Newcastle and Watford were the games we needed to get more points in than we did and that's why we are where we are. Its been a good season imo but if we go down those are the games that we should have got more from and didn't.

that's how I see it..
but I don't see not beating any team this season as being unacceptable .we came up on the strength of togetherness ,effort and a coaching staff working their socks off preparing for each game not on our quality. then spent very little in the transfer market..
