Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side's hard-fought 2-0 win over Cardiff City yesterday, and shared what the referee told him after the game, as quoted by the club's official website.
The Reds now sit two points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table, although Pep Guardiola's men do have a game in hand - away at Manchester United on Wednesday night.
Klopp's men made hard work of it yesterday, and were made to wait until the 57th minute before they broke Cardiff's resolve.
Liverpool eventually won the game 2-0 after James Milner's late penalty, but they were also lucky not to concede from a Sean Morrison header.
And Klopp told reporters how match-day referee Martin Atkinson told him after the game that had Morrison scored, the goal would not of stood, as quoted by the club's official website:

Next up for Liverpool is a home game against Huddersfield Town on Friday night, and Klopp will be hoping that his team blow away the already relegated Terriers.
