Chelsea have lowered their asking price for Eden Hazard as they look to move quickly in the transfer market and secure the services of his replacement, Lille winger Nicolas Pepe, reports AS.
20/04/19
Belgium international Hazard could now move for around €100m rather than his initial price tag of €116m. with Real Madrid favourites for his signature.
This would allow the London club to move quicker than other potential suitors on a deal for Pepe.

With the money that's being thrown around these days £100m is a bargain for a world class player who's in his prime. If he leaves Chelsea next season I don't see Chelsea getting anywhere near the top 4 especially with the transfer embargo hanging over them meaning they cant replace Hazard.

Chelsea have been banned from buying players for two transfer windows, so can sell but not buy, that is why I think Hazzard will not be going anywhere, unless his contract is nearly out as they are not allowed to replace him

Im sure I heard his contract expires next season so they might end up selling him so they don't lose him on a free like Arsenal have done with Ramsey. Either way they're in massive trouble.

They’ve made their appeal, with FIFA expected to give the result of it next week.
General consensus from those who heard the appeal and are close to FIFA, is that Chelsea don’t have a leg to stand on and it’s unlikely to be overturned. At best, it could be reduced to one window - but people say even that’s unlikely. Chelsea will then probably take it to Cas, who will not hear it before the window opens and the ban can’t be frozen. For the reasons above, Cas will probably reject the appeal anyway.
Was one of the reasons why FIFA refused their request to freeze the ban while the appeal is in progress and were keen to give their result of the appeal before the window opens - in previous similar cases, FIFA have had longer appeal processes and have agreed to freeze the bans.
They have to sell Hazard for a number of reasons, whatever happens with the transfer ban. He wants to go to Real Madrid now, and there’s little point in keeping a player who doesn’t want to be there. As others have said, another reason is he has a year left on his contract. He won’t sign a new contract and losing him for nothing would be a disaster and won’t sit well with their fans.
Will certainly be a tough season for them next year, by their recent standards anyway.
