Which Liverpool will turn up on Sunday ?

Wed Apr 17, 2019 8:15 am

Tonight Liverpool play in Europe, and its not a forgone conclusion that they will just breeze through the match with ease, Porto will be well up for this and Liverpool will need to be totally on their game, they will need to play their best side. That said with a view that they will want to fight on both fronts, will they could take the attitude that Sunday they are only playing Cardiff and rest a few players. So where does that lead us to?

Following last night we have earned ourselves a "Free Hit" on Sunday. The pressure is off us as we are totally expected to lose, it was the same as Chelsea, we were supposed to roll over and play dead, and we should have won that one (I am not going back to that one).

So lets imagine the position
1. We are right up there on form.
2. Liverpool are jaded from their European excursion
3. Liverpool rest a number of the first team (they don't have the quality Man City have behind the first 11)

RESULT 1-0 :bluebird: City. :occasion5:

OK, now please send for the guys in white coats, I will go quietly :ayatollah:

I got talking to a Liverpool fan last nite after the game,he said they will lose a game they are supposed to win and blow the title.
Let's hope he is correct and it happens on Sunday.

All our lives as city fans we have grown up in S.Wales surrounded by these plastic Scousers.
Because we've never really been in the same division as them we have never been on their radar.
But this Sunday not only are we playing them but we've got an opportunity to possibly stop them winning the
Premier league and enhancing our own survival hopes.
How sweet would that be, payback for all those years of derision from the armchair football fans?
Even better if Niasse the on loan Evertonian gets the winner.
:occasion5: :bluescarf:
I don't particularly dislike Liverpool as a club (unlike Chelsea) but just detest the plastic Scousers/Mancs etc
that don't support their local team.

Niasse to score the winner would be fitting an evertonian

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: "These are all massive games. None of them are won before we start.

"Everybody thinks a lot about Barcelona but before Barcelona it's Cardiff and Huddersfield, and it's exactly the same importance to us as the other games."
