Players' first time in Premier League - does it mean as much to them as it does fans to stay in league?
NEIL WARNOCK:
“If you see how our lads play I don’t think you can question what it means to them. The fans have been brilliant and the players have been brilliant.
“We might not have been good enough at times, but I think the way they’ve adapted and tried, has been amazing. I think that’s why the fans have stayed with them.
“They’ve seen how they needed to adapt to absolutely everything. We’ve been really up against it in games, but it’s that support that keeps everybody together and I don’t suppose there’s many clubs where a manager probably doesn’t get as much as stick as others in the situation we are in. We know where we were two years ago and we’ve come a long way. We’re disappointed we’re not eight or nine points more and we have made mistakes but I cannot fault the players. They have not made the mistakes on purpose.”
