Rangers and Swansea emblems linked by the Red Hand Of Ulster.... no idea why Swansea fans went down that road.... but they share a reputation with a fairly small group of other clubs for union flag waving, royalism, right wing populism, hatred of Celtic and the Irish and a love of GSTQ. Music to Rangers' fans ears.

I just did a google search to see what fans of other British clubs have a similar reputation and the obvious ones came up: Chelsea, Millwall, Hearts and a clutch of others that had a big BNP presence on the terraces in the 80s, but a number of articles or blogs also named Reading! Extreme loyalism in the aisles of Waitrose?

I hate Celtic but certainly don’t hate the Irish. Not fussed either way by the Royal Family and politically Rangers, like Cardiff, are a broad church. I’ve being going to Ibrox for over 50 years and have never heard Swansea mentioned. Oh by the way 6 people connected to Celtic have been arrested on child sex abuse charges, how many need to be arrested before it’s considered a nonce ring?

Being a Porthcawl boy, I do know a few Jacks and they find the find the whole Brit flag business to be embarrassing.

They aren’t very popular down there and are often linked to racist groups like the BNP, UKIP and the Tommy Robinson mongs.

By all accounts, the Welsh dragon outnumbers the butchers apron at all Jack games these days.

For me personally, the day I see a red hand our any Brit nat nonsense down the City is the day I leave the club for good.

It's much more simple than that in my opinion (just like their mindset) - if we sported white flags at our games, they ( the Jacks) would feel the need to show black flags. We display the Welsh Dragon, they try and go the polar opposite and go with the Union Jack. It also gives them some lame excuse as to why they are hardly ever seen at Wales away games... it just progressed from there with them really.
