£145 for FA cup final tickets

Man City v Watford

£145 for FA cup final tickets
It is no longer the game of the people
How can a fan afford it and How can a family afford it?

And this is still not right

Both clubs only allocated 28,000 fans in a 90,000 capacity stadium

I paid £95 in 2008 and I'm sure that was the most expensive, I say I paid, my dad did really at the time for me and my brother.

Think I paid £55 for the Carling Cup Final and Barnsley and about £40 for Blackpool but that was terrible at the back of the top tier not to mention the result.

Back to the point though, £145 is scandulous

Plus the ones i have met were not happy when their manager bought a new house on Monday.
A nice little 2 up 3 down one.

if people want to go to a game enough they will pay it. think the EUROS proved that . I paid 295 euros face value for crap row 74 in the corner tickets ..

I never envisaged I would pay anything like that to watch a game of football. but did..

Changed the text in the original topic to Watford. We all make mistakes :thumbright:

That’s a shocking price. Working class people can not afford that.

Went to our matches at Wembley against Barnsley, Portsmouth, Blackpool and Liverpool (actually still have the programmes for all of them). Not sure I’d pay to watch us there again - couldn’t afford those prices.

We all paid over the odds for the euros. It was a possible one off. Doesnt make it right though.

well Watford havent played in an FA cup final for 35 years..and this will be only their 2nd final ever..so if your a Watford fan you would probably thinking this is a one off ?
and my point about the prices was 295 got you a crap seat in Lyon { and tbh I have not heard many moan } and half that gets you one of the best seats for the FA cup final.. and 45 quid cheapest ticket is actually less than the cheapest seat at a lot of premier league clubs..eg Fulham are charging 50 for neutral end behind goals..
as I said it seems that if people want to go enough, they will pay..
