HARRY ARTER: “THE DREAM SEASON WOULD BE”
"I looked at this season as one where I wanted to experience something new but when I got within the club [Cardiff], I felt so ingrained with it.
"I didn't really want to think anything long term, I think sometimes loan players can have a subconscious mind of 'I'm not going to be here next year' and potentially not give their all.
"My mindset is just on this year, trying to stay in the Premier League and come the end of the season, have a think.
"It's a great group of lads. I think they got that bond from last year of being promoted together and I think that could play a massive part in keeping us up this year."
The non-committal comments come after Arter, who lives in London and commutes to Cardiff, previously spoke about his desire to remain in the Welsh capital.
Back in November, he said: "I've said to my family already the dream season would be Cardiff to stay up, the manager to stay on and then hopefully I can sign because I've loved every minute of being here.
"I've loved every training session and every game. Every home game has had a meaning and the fans have been brilliant.
"That's down to the lads - they can see they're giving their all."
