Maybe not a popular view, BUT

Sun Apr 07, 2019 8:32 pm

At this stage of the season and with so much depending on the results of others, maybe it’s time to try and enjoy the last few matches. I know it feels like The Sword of Damacles is suspended over the club, but there is still hope of survival and there are some great fixtures to watch. Why be doom-and-gloom when the fate of the club is in the hands of others to a certain extent?

I may we’ll get shouted down for this, but if survival happens, then there has to be an element of enjoyment.... and if relegation beckons, make the very most of seeing games from the best leagues in the world (opinion obviously) in your own back yard!

For the very young fans, they need to look back on this season with a lot more positivity than the last PL venture. The club was written off by many but has given it a go (and continues to do so).

Excellent post Mr Woodville. Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you'll start having positive results.

Well we have 6 more games to enjoy or dread.
Whatever happens to us , go down or stay up. I've enjoyed it.
Next season we go again whichever division we are in.

Wouldn't go that far  Ive enjoyed the majority of the season but the games against Man City (H) Tottenham (H) Newcastle (A) Everton (H) Watford (H) and Wolves (A) were awful to watch.

the Chelsea game was the one that hurt me the most ,found it difficult to console myself with how well we had played. the others mentioned we were 2nd best which I don't find enjoyable but can accept .
