MY THOUGHTS: WHY THE NEGATIVITY AMONGST FANS?

Sat Apr 06, 2019 5:16 pm

MY THOUGHTS:

I have not got a clue why the hate for Niasse have grown in recent days nor the negative comments from either the Media or fans in general, because yes Burnley are getting points but they are not the only team we are fighting against. There are both Southampton and Brighton who are level on points and still 5 points from us. I think that IF Cardiff can manage to win there 4 matches then we have survived the Premier League by reaching the magic 40 Points mark.

Cardiff can't do anything else but win there 4 crucial matches when they come, teams around them can get the points they need but Cardiff in there mind should remember the 40 Points for Survival. If they use the Liverpool game to potentially rest players who might be carrying knocks then they will be ready for thee Fulham away match after that which is another vital match for the team.

I still have hope in the team to bring in the points from the 4 big matches and secure survival but they can't afford 1 slip up because that will indeed be the end of the fight for survival. Yes Southampton and Brighton both are the teams to keep at the back of your mind but Burnley have got the worst running of matches after they played us, and I can't see Burnley picking up any points once they played against us which will be a boost for Cardiff IF they manage to beat Burnley.

So I Say Survival Is Still In Cardiff's Hands, They Simply Can Not Lose To The 4 Teams.

On the whole Niasse situation I think that he was so unlucky in that situation against Man City, because there were countless of options he could of done to score a goal, so I think he should still start in the remaining matches only because he has more speed than Zohore and Niasse has more urgency and can react quicker than Zohore in certain situations.

I actually think that the match that Cardiff don't expect much from, the one against Liverpool at home I think Zohore should start and rest Niassa for the Fulham match. And have either Bobby Reid or Danny Ward come off from the bench for him.

it's easy to say we just need 4 wins. in the real world, winning is difficult in the PL with a below average bunch of players, hence why we have 28 points from 32 games. a 5 point gap at this stage of the season is massive, and our record over the course of the bulk of this season suggests it would take us 6 games to achieve this number of points. realistically, we've been relegated, and warnock knows this, hence his reaction against chelsea.

niasse is a decent player, and a willing worker, but hasnt scored in 9 games. it's conceivable he will finish the season without scoring.

it's cant come as any surprise to see a bit of negativity when you consider the above.

Reality check people, there's no chance of winning 4 games with this current squad. Lack of investment has cost us massively with some bad luck. Simply not good enough to compete in the Premiership. Go down fighting, re-cock for another season in the championship and invest in better players. However there is a chance of survival if the other teams around us fail to perform. Fingers crossed :bluescarf:

he wasnt unlucky at Man City that was awful. your correct in he had options but he chose the runaway train option .

not sure what goes through his mind once nearing the opposition penalty area

Survival is not in our hands , that is an incorrect statement, we’re relying on other teams dropping points now and picking up maximum ourselves

It's not negativity. I think there is now a real acceptance that we are going down especially after Burnley's win yesterday. We are not going to win all 4 of those 'winnable' matches especially as three are away from home. Only a win against Burnley next week will rekindle any slim hope that we have but I just can't see it even though we are generally playing quite well at the moment.
I hope the club are making proper preparations behind the scenes for the Championship with some early signings in midfield to replace Arter, Camarassa and Gunnarson. I think we have every opportunity to yo-yo back up next year if we invest in the right signings. We have an excellent Championship squad with some central midfield additions and a couple of new strikers.
