Southampton 1- 1 Liverpool
Liverpool just equalised, Salah was offside on the original ball through.
Another big club getting the luck or rub of the green
It was tighter than ours but still offside and could cost Southampton

I think with the fixtures they have left they will easily finish the season safely.
Burnley and Brighton are our target

Totally agree.
But then I've been thinking that for months and they are still there. Always a twist.

With the squad Southampton have, it’s craziness that they aren’t safe yet.

Southampton if they beat Bournemouth and Hudders at home are safe, easy does it for them IMO

Agree...and it needed a micrometer to see it on this occasion!
The assistants are told to "give the benefit of doubt to the attacking team" and this is one such occasion; whilst the Cheleas goal might have been stretching it a little...!

It looked pretty level to me and on the basis you cant be absolutely precise as toe the 100th of a second that the ball left the foot. We take the freeze frame with the ball leaving the foot as gospel but that could be out. You have to except the marginal decisions which ever way they go, or we'll just go from argueing about feet, to inches to millimetres.
One interesting point from the game in light of the disagreement on here about whether Manga should have appealed last week. Henderson had a shot in the second half, which took a deflection off a Southampton defender. The referee didn't see the deflection and gave a goal kick. Following protests from the Liverpool players he changed the decision. No input from the linesman, he changed it as a consequence of the protest from the Liverpool players.
