' Brave performances like last night '

For me last night was a very brave performance, Man City had pure class and Cardiff managed to keep the score down to just a 2-0 defeat.

Before last night most fans expected a hammering as clubs like Man City are in another League compared to Cardiff, so today we should think positively as if we continue from last nights performance and the Chelsea game, then Cardiff can beat Burnley,Brighton, Fulham and get at least a draw v Palace to stay up this season :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

For me the team still believe they can stay up, Neil Warnock believes, so the 12th man us the fans have to be all 110% behind them :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Great as it was, if we are being realistic Man City weren't putting much effort in towards the end of the game and seemed to be happy with a 2-0 victory. I suspect they could have blown us away had they really wanted to.

Yep, spot on.

The defensive shape has looked much better in the last 3 games. Arter will come back in to give a bit more bite against Burnley and then this team will give everything.

The wins/draw you suggest would certainly keep us up but how those points are made up doesn't really matter anymore. I think Burnley and Brighton both have to beat us but if we just beat one of them (preferably Burnley), looking at the respective run-ins I would be pretty hopeful that we can stay up.

36 points might still be enough (2 wins, 2 draws) but that really would depend on Burnley blowing up completely and I do think they might pull off at least one result.

It's just nice to be in with a shout going into April :bluescarf: :thumbright:

I think both clubs were satisfied with the score last night. The important thing for Man C was three points, and no major injuries to key players. They have bigger fish to fry, and last night was not much more than a practice match for them. They got themselves 2-0 up, knew they had the match won, and strolled to victory from there.

Cardiff battled hard, and did well to come away with just a two goal defeat. Like Man C, they have more important games to play over the next few weeks. Defensively, we don't look too bad, but not sure where our goals will come from. Could be that a lack of a true goal scorer will cost us big time, and things may have been so different but for a tragic plane crash.
