Just seen incident and if you watch lino he actually moves out in unison with William so could not see the players in pen area standing offside! To confuse matters player was onside when headed ball? But really awful way to run the line

He can’t use that as an excuse.
Once his eyesight was no longer blocked, it would have been obvious that Azpilicueta was offside - and he should have raised his flag.
My initial thought was maybe it came off a City player before going to Azpilicueta, but there’s not even a case for that.

Not excuse just a rational for not flagging, i thought same as you but clearly it didn't. So looked at it again and clearly lino does not see players standing offside prior to heading ball in as william in way, . If he did see the final header he was onside but like said obviously came back from offside? If you also look lino he sprints back to halfway line immediately after goal that indicates he didn't see players offside This is opinion also of sky pundits watching game... basically if didn't see offside cannot give it

Look at it again standing offside when ball was played he then moved back and when he connected with ball he was onside position but as i said he's coming back from offside position so doesn't alter goal should not have been given Only taking a full look at whole sequence of events
