Mockery of the Premier league

Sun Mar 31, 2019 4:30 pm

For me that game today has discredited the so called best league in the world.

A few will say I am just being bitter and yes I am but if people can't see why then they are as blind as those officials today. But where those officials blind?

It's not just been us that have felt cheated but other clubs as well. The Jacks went on about it for all the time they were in the league. A Burnley mate of mine keeps reminding me how they keep missing out on penalty decisions. To me it seems that these decisions happen against the smaller clubs and not the top 6. It's gone from being suspicious to damn right blatant. Even more so since Leicester upset the applecart. The question I'm asking is do we really want to be involved in such a league that now is dropping its bias mask for the top 6?

The whole point of playing football in the Championship is to get promoted to the Premier League. The way modern football is going I don't think I want to watch any of it wherever we are.

F@cking well said :!: it's now becoming a farce, below the top 6 we are all training fodder, sparring partner, where we are swiftly reminded,we are not allowed to hit hard,or we will be punished severely ;) have enjoyed our first appearance in blue this year, but things like this, leaves a very bitter taste in the mouth :sad7: :old: :bluebird:

Not on a scale as what we have suffered in the Premier.

My honest feeling are let the top 6 bugger off to some "Superior" league and just watch them come running back to us with their tails between their legs.

You are spot on ! This was clear cheating by Chelsea and this is ruining the game, what happened to fair play policy in football?
VAR must now be made compulsory ! This game was a joke and the premier league organisers and officials should be ashamed of themselves.

Whilst the offside is getting the headlines must not forget the 3 other blatent bad decisions ref made? 2 pulls on Morrison in front of him 5 yds away all pundits say pens....plus the foul on ken if he was not brought down he was around keeper who was in no mans land! Ref didnt make decision his linesman 40yds away did even though he was couple of yrds away? And once foul given its a red card no ifs or buts! Commentators actually said if this is not red card he'd be surprised? :laughing6: one mistake ok but 4 blatent ones can premier league explain that away?
