Roll on VAR

Sun Mar 31, 2019 3:06 pm

Yet another 2 or 3 big decisions the ref and his team have got wrong/missed that VAR would/should have picked up.

It’s about time that the playing field is levelled so it’s a fair game instead of 11 Vs 14 all the time

We would have won today if VAR was used

2 penalties and a sending off

Game over

We won’t be benefactors of VAR for a while unfortunately

As much as I hate to say it but Rugby Union are light years ahead of football. Any doubts are sorted within a minute and everybody can hear the communication

obviously haven't seen how VAR works.

its for more refs to be able to give the favoured club more decisions...and then the authorities to then claim correct decisions have improved from the 99.999% they now claim are correct ot it being 99.99999%.

its total BS and defo not for the small fish to be getting a better crack of the whip.

VAR is being pushed and will benefit the big clubs. They have the better players so, overall, the smaller clubs are the more likely to have to resort to niggly fouls in order to stop them. No doubt VAR will spot these, but will ignore the infringements from the bigger clubs. Any fan of a less fashionable, smaller club calling for VAR is a mug

I’m no mug, VAR would have overturned the offside goal regardless of who was playing, they would have also looked at the other incidents, they say VAR is all about fairness and catching the things that the ref misses so once again roll on VAR

you think its being brought into a multi billion pound industry that is hugely dependant on the top 6 doing well to benefit smaller clubs and for fairness ?
sorry but no.
besides anyone that watched the world cup will also remember many VAR debates in TV studios after decisions.. and blatant stuff not given while some very dubious stuff was given..
at the end of the day its a ref not as qualified as the real ref having a say. how about giving Dai Hunt a means to override Warnocks tactics or subs.?
