MY VIEW “ CARDIFF CITY THREW IT AWAY TODAY “
Chelsea dominated the first half, but rarerly threatened Neil Etheridge’s goal.
Josh Murphy came closest for us, while Lee Peltier had a shot easily saved.
City defended well in the first half.
HALF TIME: Cardiff City 0-0 Chelsea
At the start of the second half, following a a long throw, City took the lead as Harry Arter set up Victor Camarasa to score the first goal

Harry Arter was booked soon after for a late challenge on Eden Hazard.
With just six minutes to go, Cesar Azpilicueta equalised for the visitors from close range.
Rudiger should have been sent off and minutes later Loftus-Cheek gave the visitors the lead.
FT 1-2
I thought City played well and didn’t deserve to lose that match - but we need to defend leads better in these final games.
We move on to Manchester City away on Wednesday

Their equaliser was at least a yard offside
Sun Mar 31, 2019 3:07 pm
You must have been watching a different match. First goal should never of counted. Even after taking zohore down and getting a yellow, it should of been a second yellow for him. Last goal we weren’t alert enough and rightly conceded. Should have had AT LEAST a point from that game.
But ‘threw it away’?! Behave
Sun Mar 31, 2019 3:08 pm
The lads gave all. Good performance. Terrible linesman decision for their goal. We would prob have won!!!
Sun Mar 31, 2019 3:09 pm
officials too busy celebrating the goal to watch the replays
Sun Mar 31, 2019 3:16 pm
Threw it away

no, they had a player stay on the pitch who should’ve been sent off, they were a yard offside for the equaliser and (although we’ll never know) it’s possible that they would never have had the second as our heads started to drop after the equaliser and they began to gain momentum. We didn’t throw anything away, the game was gifted to Chelsea by the officials, not us.

I watched this game in West wales (mothers day surprise

) the first goal was at least 2 yards offside

don't mind if we are relegated, but cannot stand being f@cking blatantly cheated

waiting to hear neil rant, and this time he's spot on,linesman cost us what could have been a vital point,or 3

would they have scored the 2nd

we will sadly never know, great performance from the boys, how can someone say we threw it away, begged belief (apologies if you are visually impaired

) when you watch match of the day tonight, tell me he wasn't CLEARLY OFFSIDE,And I will make an appointment at specs avers, cos my eyes or the op's are clearly in a bad way
Sun Mar 31, 2019 3:22 pm
Goal was well offside. Morrison fouled twice in their box. Should have had two penalties. They should have been down to 10 men. Cheated more like.

Fans from other clubs, including Southampton, Liverpool, and a few others, have tweeted their disgust at the offside decision, quoting the officials robbed us,and "this isn't supposed to happen,in this way"

this was a massive dock up,and could ultimately cost us our place in the prem, still a few twists to come in my eyes, not over yet

let's hope the boys can pick themselves up from being blatantly robbed

Undone by a goal that should have been a simple decision for the linesman to flag offside, and by poor defending at the death. The players gave everything, but in the end came away with nothing through no fault of their own. Could'nt question the players for effort, but the linesman should certainly have some questions to answer.

Post header doesn’t match your comments, or the stark reality -
Ref and his accomplices should have worn masks! #Robbers

Threw it away???.are you serious?.we were by far the better team who cheated by incompetent officials.

You must have stayed in Worcester and not watch the game, we played and battled well today
to lose to a 2 yard offside goal, should have had a penalty ( they were mugging Sean)
and they should have had man sent off, I wouldn’t call it throwing away
Sun Mar 31, 2019 3:46 pm

"Threw it away" - Do me a favour. You should get a job on Talksport, they love making rediculous statements just to get a reaction.

Threw it away????? What game were you at??
Sun Mar 31, 2019 4:13 pm
The only one who threw anything away was the referee - the rule book and his reputation.
We deserved to win and if the rules had been anything like followed we would have done.
Three certain penalties not given to Cardiff City.
Deliberate professional foul against a player in a scoring position doesn't get a red card.
An offside goal allowed.
The real score should have been three or four one.

Steve you are very careful in your post not to directly criticise the referee and on many occasions in the past your posts have pointed out how quick City fans are to blame the ref when things go against the team so I would be interested to hear if you would be critical of the ref's performance today.
Personally I think he missed at least a couple of penalty shouts and what should have been a red card for the Chelsea centre back for the pull back on Ken.
Sun Mar 31, 2019 4:32 pm
Seen var type pic and 2 players at least 1yd offside daylight between them and city player... plus 1st half clear foul on Morrison ref saw it and did nothing
Sun Mar 31, 2019 4:40 pm
To be fair to him I think he means the lateness of the goals and holding out for some points.
No one can blame the team for the piss poor officials.
Morrisson had a blinder and was my MOTM

There is a thread below headed "The FA need to look at this game". I think my comment on there answer your question. I have never been one to jump on the bandwagon and blame the officials each and every time we lose a game. In fact, I don't believe I have criticised an official yet this season as I know we are all capable of making mistakes, and we have benefited from some poor decisions as well as losing out. I find it difficult to believe after watching today's game that those poor decisions were mistakes. Obviously difficult to prove anything, but I can't believe that there could be that many "convenient" mistakes in 90 minutes.

I tend to agree, mistakes we have benefited from, had go against us are usually more GENUINE mistakes, today was the most blatant "mistakes" I have seen in many, many years, Robin hood in reverse springs to mind, robbing the poor to feed the rich

So did I watch the game? I guess kid.. threw it away no...
Sun Mar 31, 2019 8:50 pm
How the hell can you say we threw it away ??? The ref basically made sure chelsea won the game, the premier league and the refs are corrupt and if it isn’t the top 7 teams who can promote the league globally they don’t give a toss, boils my blood and nothing will ever be done about it because money talks, had a guts full of the standard of refereeing in this country.
