MY VIEW: “ CARDIFF TODAY WERE ROBBED “

Sun Mar 31, 2019 2:56 pm

MY VIEW/OPINION

I have now looked back on some of the decisions on Sky and they were worse than awful by the Ref, in fact he cost us the three points  ROBBED :banghead:

CARDIFF GAVE EVERYTHING TODAY & FOR LONG PERIODS OF THE GAME CARDIFF LOOKED LIKE THEY COULD HOLD OUT FOR THE WIN / BUT THEY LET CHELSEA COME AT THEM TIME & TIME AGAIN & IN THE END CHELSEA SCORED THE EQUALISER & THEN CHELSEA SCORED THE WINNER IN THE 90th min.

CARDIFF FOR ME NOW HAVE TO WIN 4 OF THEIR REMAINING 7 GAMES / A MIRACLE NEEDED??

For me Chelsea’s 2nd goal looked totally offside and a few more decisions that Chelsea had, seemed bad decisions :banghead:

First-half: it took 26mins for a bit of life in the game, after Chelsea were given a yellow card for a foul on Camarasa, until then and for large parts of the game it was shall we say dire and boring.
Chelsea just edged it and missed a couple of sitters.

Second-half Bang 46th min Camarasa scored 1-0 City, the Cardiff City Stadium erupted :bluebird: :ayatollah:

52nd Min Chelsea brought Hazard on.

63rd min Chelsea brought on Loftus-Cheek.

68th min Giroud came on for Chelsea.

Cardiff were looking good and came forward, then for the remainder of the match Chelsea did a swarm of attack’s with Neil Etheridge called in to action on numerous occasions.

In the end Chelsea equalised with header 84th min as our defence stood still 1-1

Zohore was brought on for Cardiff.

Mendez-Laing came on in 89th min.

Shocking decisions by the officials

Two blatant penalties missed

A goal that was clearly two yards offside

A red card should have been given

All changed the course of the game - how can do many poor decisions be given in one game - shocking

Unlucky, today. But to be honest Chelsea strolled through the first 80 mins. and still won the game. If Sarri’s looking for a job i’d Welcome him with open arms.

Can’t fault the boys today. Normally I am the first to slate Morrison but he was excellent today and did a lot of ugly work - as did Gunnarsson. The only thing I disagreed with today is perhaps the substitutions for us could’ve been made earlier because I think (not 100% sure) that Chelsea made all 3 before we made our first sub

Warnock’s achile’s heel. After 100 years in football, he still can’t get the timing of his substitutions right.

We were right to stand still for their first goal because two of them were offside...

I think people must have been watching a different game to me.

If the boys continue to play like that they'll survive with no problem. Chelsea were lucky and would've been beaten if not for a series of unfair decisions by the referee.

I don't usually moan about refereeing decisions but that was appalling.

We had at least two clear penalties disallowed , a Chelsea defender who somehow avoided a red card and had a clearly offside goal given.

We didn't ever expect a point out of this game but we deserved three. That's the first time we've clearly outplayed a top six team and if we can maintain that standard we are capable of beating anyone - certainly the teams we already thought we could beat.

Just watched highlights never ever said this before, but I felt we were robbed today by a Ref

Same here. I am usually the last one to have a dig at officials, but there is no excuse for what we saw today. Something just does not feel right about what happened this afternoon, and you have to wonder if there is money involved. I just can't believe any linesman, even in local leagues football, could miss the obvious offside for the first goal.

Totally robbed, throughout the game the ref would give them anything and everything and only give us obvious decisions if we were lucky.

I thought we were excellent and if we play like that we will stay up.

I think 3 wins will be enough especially if one of them is against Burnley.

Feel same, I don’t usually blame refs. Ok we have had a few bad ones this year, what is the annoying me is the bias towards the top six. The jacks had it the other week. It’s no conincidence, have never felt so cheated as today watching football. That can’t be a mistake it’s too obvious, two players so far off.

Totally cheated and what about the shirt pull in front of ref. Not both at it just one. Shocking.

Put up the reason for no offside given! Simply the lino moved up with william and so did not see the offside prior to ball being headed if he did see player heading ball in he would see hes onside! But obviously coming from offside position lino wouldn't have seen this though
