Football is big business and each club will do whatever they believe is best for themselves. If a club thinks it makes good business sense to buy a player from Cardiff, or sell a player to Cardiff, that is exactly what they will do. What makes this a big story is the fact that two people lost their lives. However, there is no room for sentiment in business, and the dispute is seperate to the actual tragic events of that night. The dispute revolves around contract issues which were completed prior to the day of the accident, and it will be resolved to the letter of the law. If Cardiff or their insurers have to pay, then that is what will happen. If they are told they are not liable to pay any money, then just like every other business, it is highly unlikely that they will part with any cash. Can't see it having any bearing on any future business as they will always have to act lawfully if a legitimate contract exists, and abide by the terms and conditions of that particular contract.

Oh you have this nasty habit of not reading threads properly, there's no slagging off, I was just thinking that the whole episode may have on-going issues for us with transfers, no matter what the outcome.

If it doesn't 'no matter what the outcome' then fine, but don't go slagging someone off just because they provide a view, unless of course you think you own the board, your view is the only one and I'm sure that's not the case given I have seen replies made on other threads by you.
