NEIL WARNOCK:
'Morrison an easy target'
Asked if the criticism on Sean Morrison since his return is fair:
“I think Sean is an easy target, but I’ll be picking what I think is the best team.
“We haven’t got many options at the back and I’ll be looking at the opponents as well.
“Wolves have always been solid at the back and had good midfield players. Jota and Jonny have fitted in really well, it’s not been a surprise to me that they’ve had good results against the top teams.”

I tend to agree, he is the easy target and he isn't the reason we have fallen apart, I think our biggest weakness recently has been tactically. I don't agree he should have been rushed back but also don't think he is the whole reason we have lost either. Not to mention stupid comments you see about us certain to lose if Morrison plays which obviously makes no sense, it was the same when Ralls was struggling.

Take away his excellence last season, especially his 2 against Hull last season and we wouldn't even be in the Prem.
Earned his chance this season, was actually great at intercepting Richarlison on a few occasions the other night after a ropey first 20 mins.

Earned his chance yes, but he hasn’t taken it. He isn’t always to blame for losses but the partnership is simply stronger with manga and bamba. He’s been a bit found out this year, but, he was brought back too early after 4 weeks out 2 90mins in 4 days isn’t right. That is not his fault and I think the management team need to look at themselves there. No wonder camarasa and his team are advising us when he’ll be fit rather than the other way around.

He's been crap since he came back and we played well without him. Whatever the reason, tactics, back too soon, he has to drop to the bench and we need to go back to the winning combinations of a few weeks ago.

Some people just need a 'target' to off-load their frustrations...a Kleenex tissue in most cases!

The effort’s there but the ability isn’t.

I like NW line "I'll be looking at opponents as well". Morrison be an excellent pick when premier league side has a slow lump of a centre forward for us to defend against and opposition play long aerial straight balls. Unfortunately they don't.
