Such disrespect for our manager

Thu Feb 28, 2019 9:52 pm

Such disrespect for our manager on here after two awful results, without him we would be rotting in league 1 with small crowds and a dying club. The guy has worked absolute miracles to get us up and against all the odds pulled off some great result and kept us afloat all season. Not forgetting the tragedy with sala and the constant pressure he has been under from the media.

Before somebody says “ they are entitled to their opinions “ yes course they are and so am I, shocking from some on here. For me he’s our best ever manager and if we get beat in every single game until the end of the season he still will be for everything he has done. He’s for sure made some mistakes the last few weeks but how about the two matches before that?! Short memories.

We have a great chance of staying up, I for one am right behind Warnock.

By far the greatest manager we've had in my 26 years following the City. To question his tactics in a respectful manner is fine, all about opinions.

Excellent post. Complete lack of respect.

Everyone has the right to an opinion as you say and I totally agree.

I also agree that it is my right to call them dickheads. That’s my opinion.

Personally I think NW has done an amazing job to get us as many points as we have already. We will be just short of staying up, which considering our budget is about right. I’m looking forward to the championship next season with Warnock, prem league is shite.

Absolutely yes but am not talking about tactics, I for one watched the three games against arsenal Bournemouth and Southampton, I questioned pelts and ralls being brought in. I was wrong Warnock was spot on and it returned 6 points and could have been 9. What he did after that he got wrong. But some of the things I read are cringe. Two awful defeats but worthy of the comments?! I know this will happen especially on the social media world we live in butvto this extent. Surprised and embarrassed, most of the ones will be the same ones singing at Southampton away only a few weeks ago. Crazy. Where is the loyalty.

Yes he makes some mistakes but the players make more . Greatest manager we have ever had end of

He changed a winning team and we actually played well in the games we won, he deserves blame sending out a team that hasn't played with each other really.. it's like Fulham the way we gone with the team selections and formations.

No need to get obsessed about things. There's much more in life. Why worry about what others think? Believe in yourself; that's the best remedy!

Spot on.

Last time I checked we’re allowed to criticise the manager but unfortunately the OP isn’t happy unless we all suggest that Warnock can walk on water.

Everton are a decent side with some very good players , been in the top tier literally forever and we haven't beaten them in ???????????...
it wasn't selection and tactics...the shock would have been a home win not the defeat. never the less you live in hope { I do } and therefore defeat was a downer. but the level of spoilt children toy throwing on here was a downer too..
does not get a free pass. WHAT. he does not need one for a loss against a better team . but should he need one , especially after the events of the last month , I can not think of any Cardiff manager during my time that's earned it more.

It's disrespect from a top-heavy load of trolls and then a group of followers who don't understand how to put a bit of a balance into a comment.

Any balanced individual would have to say anything over 30 points this season is a huge over-achievement with all things considered.

Agree mate. I've been positive until the last two games but never abuse people, it's just childish.

Short memories some on here, disgraceful should be ashamed of themselves. They would kick there own granny, look up the word loyal, I addressed this on another post. By the way , I was there in 1988 at Halifax, one coach that night and half full, do well to remember how far the club has come. MUPPETS.

Spoke to a couple of guys yesterday never meet before, walked in on them discussing the City and the last two performances and both agreed that the players are punching above there weight and not quite good enough to keep us up,no blame attached to Warnock whatsoever. This messageboard does not in my view represent the true feelings or views of most City fans.

Re: Such disrespect for our manager

No if you'd ever bother to educate yourself you would realise Fred steward was City's greatest manager.
In my time watching city though Neil Warnock is the best manager I've ever seen.

Re: Such disrespect for our manager

No manager is above criticism and I think he deserves some of it however some of the stuff that has been said is poor in my opinion. He has done wonders for the club and we are still around where we hoped we would be trying to stay up. Some fans will think he deserves to be replaced some wont that's football but I don't see any reason not to show Warnock respect. He gets my backing and hope he stays until the end of the season.

This is the problem right there, fans willing to accept second best you would be happy for us to go down with every chance that the relegations would end there ask the Sunderland fans about that, you seem to have the same ambition as Tan,for us real fans we want our club playing at the highest level playing the best teams week in week out,to be able to achieve that it would be required to get a more ambition owner and it goes without say a more sensible manager for the Premiership that we have now,i donr want us to either playing our football in Division 1 or heaven forbid Division 2 and i certainly dont want us to be a yo yo club,i love us being in the Premiership even struggling because we have a Championship standard Manager and players

The problem is all of the negative headlines rise to the top, it's what gets the most responses from people.

Personally I'm going to make an effort only to post in more balanced threads or ignore altogether as you're constantly arguing with the exact same people who only come out after defeats and describe the wins we have managed as "fortunate".

My point is he shouldn’t be exempt from criticism. Some people speak as if he’s untouchable, when in fact he’s made a lot of mistakes recently.

The OP wants everyone to agree with him and anyone who disagrees with him must be wrong.

Well I’m sorry to the OP, but nobody tells me what my opinion should be. It’s not about lack of respect.

This football club was here long before Neil Warnock and will be here long after he’s gone.

Personally, I'm a Neil Warnock supporter. What he has achieved for us is beyond expectation and we Bluebird supporters are a pretty expectant bunch

For me, it's not that he is/should be 'untouchable' or that people have differing opinions on any given subject, including Neil Warnock's management, it's the way those opinions are put across

A lot of people (usually hiding behind their perceived anonymity) are down right rude and disrespectful in their writing and clearly have little respect and/or (often) knowledge on what is going on behind any individual event or result

My personal disdain for those people is huge and they know I'm not shy of letting them know

Spoils it for the vast majority of superb members on this great Forum and so often spoils the debate :(

Where do I say I want everybody to agree with me?! I am expressing my opinion, where do I say that I want you have the same opinion as me?! Not once we have a different opinion, and just for clarity it’s not about disagreeing about Warnock or him being above criticism far from it. For clarity it’s about some the cringe over the top disrespectful posts.

Absolutely players and managers come and go, think you need to re read the OP.
