NEIL WARNOCK: "LETS NOT WORRY ABOUT OTHERS"

NEIL WARNOCK:

"We have to keep our own house in order before worrying about other clubs"

"We can only worry about ourselves," he says.

" You can't legislate for such catastrophic mistakes that we have made against Watford and Everton."

Worrying about themselves means eradicating the slip-ups that have proven costly in the past five days.

If Cardiff can adhere to their manager's desires in avoiding mistakes — and Warnock gets his selections right — Molineux can mark the end of this worrying slump. It must do.

Yes our fate is in our own hands but after last nights result with Southampton and Fulham our game with Wolverhampton is in my view a must win game something that Warnock will never believe in as a concept because he is,by nature a very defensive coach particularly when we are playing away, his siege mentality will have City parking the bus hoping for a point,if we lose the Wolves game it will surely increase the pressure on Warnock to resign or for him to be sacked so my plea to Warnock is to go now for the sake of his family and his own wellbeing

Cardiff now have Wolves away and West Ham at home, before rather daunting games against Chelsea and Manchester City. They will need something from those first two to soften the blow of the next two.

If the Bluebirds belong at this level, now is the time to show it.

You can guarantee that the sides around them will start to rally, so if Cardiff don’t match them, they will be left behind. It’s really as simple as that with 10 games to go.

In many respects, Cardiff have exceeded expectations. It’s been an enjoyable season and the club has fostered a togetherness that felt gone for good a few years ago. It has also been a bruising season and the Sala tragedy still weighs heavily.

But the next two games Wolves and West Ham, City have to get at least 4pts :thumbright: :bluebird:

Cardiff City's run-in

March 2: Wolves (A)

March 9: West Ham (H)

March 31: Chelsea (H)

TBC: Brighton (A)

April 6: Man City (A)

April 13: Burnley (A)

April 21: Liverpool (H)

April 27: Fulham (A)

May 4: Crystal Palace (H)

May 12: Man Utd (A)

The usual suspects will say, why do Cardiff have to get at least 4pts from their next 2 games  well simple if they don't, then we really will be starting to think about Championship football next season

Southampton's next two games are against Man utd and Spurs. The likely hood is they will not get any points.
Brighton play Huddersfield Saturday so likely will get 3 points putting them 5 ahead of us with a game in hand. There next game after that is Southampton home.

I would say given the fixtures the Wolves game really has become must win in reality as we need to be within touching distance for that Brighton v Saints game.
That could really give us a great chance of pulling away from one of them

True. We can only worry about ourself. But I'm not sure going all out attack on the players, although there are some big mistakes leading up to goals. We have been battered, so I hope he is consentrating on himself and a few errors to..
