Substitutions and other issues

Up until the 1st goal I thought we played really well, there was batter shape to us tonight and an urgency about us, 2 mins in and we should have been 1-0, Ken’s ball was fizzed in and NML was stretching for it.
The substitutions for us took our width, Murphy was absolutely dire, looked like he didn’t want to be on the pitch the way he was hacking at the ball, Patterson seems to play better from the start.
Manga did well until Bernardo came on and started ripping him apart.
In all I thought it was a marked improvement over Friday night, we had more shape and structure and we played more attacking football, just let down in the final 3rd

Maybe looked better than watford because everton were extremely poor? As for attacking more well shame we couldn't get close enough to put one shot on target in 90mins.

I’d agree, it wasn’t dire on Tuesday but we got punished and lacked a bit. Our final ball or play in the final 3rd was shocking. I said in the night nml was causing problems but his final ball/pass was dire. Hoilett still looks out of sorts for me, Murphy, I just think he needs a run of games to get his zest back. zahore didn’t get no service and poor old bobby Reid chased everything.
Midfield cost us Tuesday bacuna and gunnarson is not for me, and of course some dire passing cost us 2 goals. But, we will bounce back we have been worse than this and come back.
That said if we do stay up, Warnock needs to step down and some serious re building will need to take place.
