i think the whole team was poor, bennet for the first goal, effing shite, gunnerson piss poor as well but its unfair to pick on one or two, only players i thought played well were reid and zahore and but they didnt get anywhere near enough decent ball

Sigurdsson (one of the best midfielders in the division) was unmarked twice coming into the box.

Bacuna looked way out of his depth to me around top class midfielders

I tend to agree,everyone looked amateur tonight,Warnock was blowing a gasket on the touchline, I haven't witnessed city give away so many loose balls,passing into touch at this level should have taken them on the warm weather training camp as planned,but too late now,that train has left,still amazed we are in touch still but we cannot play that bad again surely

My view, Morrison simply not good enough since 1st game of season. Slow can't turn and for a guy who is what 6, 4 can't clear the ball 20 yards. Not a leader but is picked as a leader of a team who needs on the field leadership.
Secondly I blame set up tactics and line up. Bacuna centre mid, wtf.
One up top at home where we needed to go at Everton in my opinion not top 10 standard, forget the money spent , tonight was a chance slim maybe.

Manga - shocking all game and gave the ball away constantly.
Bennett - Couldn't make a 5 yard pass all game and kept giving possession away.
Gunnarsson - All he did all game was up and under's, think he thought he was playing Rugby
Bacuna - May as well have played with 10 players as he didn't make a tackle all game and was anonymous from the entire game and shirked his responsibility's of tracking back.
Hoilett - "Never gives the ball away" Yeah, thats a joke of a chant, because all he's did this game and all season is spin in circles and give the ball away constantly.
Mendez-Laing - Didnt control the ball all game, couldnt cross all game and couldnt pass all game.

Its could be any of these tbh. On a bright note it wont be Zohore who i thought put in a massive shift tonight, and was a one man pressing team tonight.

Watch the goals back and look at his positioning or lack of .
He allowed sigurdsson to run unmarked for the first goal after initially tracking him then was just ambling about on his own outside the box for the second making Gunnar track 2 players on his own.

He is poor at this level and was poor last night. He has not got the brain Arter has to play against better players. You need to be able to read those type of situations.

I doubt any let him down. It's not their fault they're not good enough at this level.

If he means errors for the goals then it's Bennett, for passing it straight out when under to pressure and Manga, for passing it straight to the player for their second goal.

Both mistakes cost us dearly.

Morrisson played 2 lost 2 goals for 0 goals against 8.

Well it could have been a few but for me:
Bacuna - crap
Hoilett - crap
Nml - final ball not great caused problems needs a run of games
Morrison - needs to be dropped
Manga needs to play cb - not a right back
Gunnarsson- broke up play well but was dire on the ball

On a bright note bamba and bobby Reid. reid did a lot of chasing didn’t get much service and works very hard since being given a run of games.

I thought the exact same as you bluebirdoct62. Also feel Bennet had a strong game and his job was made even harder when Murphy came on.

Gunnarsson was meant to pick up sigurdsson on corners, the same way he was supposed to be marking him in midfield (looked like he was given the man marking task as wherever sigurdsson was in open play Gunnarsson wasn’t far behind) but kept leaving it to others.

Manga was played out of position but felt he had a strong game until Bernardo came on then he got run ragged.

Morrison still didn’t look fit, made some important tackles but was left on his heels on more than one occasion with Bamba and Manga recovering for him

Bamba looked solid until he was nutmegged and turned inside out

Murphy was just piss poor, didn’t track back, left Colman, Calvert-Lewis and Walcott (before he went off) run the line at Bennet, didn’t defend at all just stood ball watching, looked like a deer stranded in headlights, got more and more frustrated, which was evident when he almost took a disabled fan out by our 18 yard box with his clearance then launched it a few minutes later up into the top section of the grandstand when it bounced into touch

Patterson needs to start if he’s played he was too busy running round like a headless chicken, when he starts he sticks on task and provides width and cover for the RB

Feel that both substitutions there let us down, once Murphy and Patterson came on we lost the width and we lost the help in defence

I think that morrisson has broke up the understanding bamba and manga had with morrisson s inclusion, manga having been pushed out to right back, and we have lost the last 2 games with morrisson pushed back into the team when not fit according to neil, and 8 goals have passed by morrison i am not saying all his fault but his inclusion has caused a break up at the back line .

Have'nt missed a game this season ok 5 1 but a game to forget for me and morrisson, and i would have thought apart from the obvious camarrasa, Morrison was a let down to neil in the watford game unless of course you thought he did'nt, as regards every post i have made which is not far off a thousand why do you deem them all nonsense and your vast ammount of posts absolutely perfect.

Yes there was some awful displays but I reckon he’s deflecting the blame away from himself,gives the ref a change I suppose.

Bennett couldn’t keep the ball on the pitch, passing was diabolical
Murphy lost the ball every time he got it
