MY VIEW: “THIS IS CONCERNING”
Another poor Cardiff City performance with very little created, no ideas, not looking good for City.
Two home defeats in a row, for me City should of got at least 4pts from them.
Nearly 32,000 turned up for a dire game:
First-half from a positive start to the rest of the first half being quite dire.
CARDIFF CITY 0 EVERTON 3
Crowd 31,849
Away Support 2,700 ( Everton fans)
Cardiff City: Etheridge; Manga, Bamba, Morrison, Bennett; Gunnarsson, Bacuna; Mendez-Laing, Reid, Hoilett, Zohore.
Subs: Smithies, Peltier, Arter, Murphy, Harris, Paterson, Ward.
City started brightly but the game petered out and became quite stale in the first 30mins.
The remaining 15mins were quite dire with Everton scoring in the 40th min 0-1
H/T 0-1
No creativity from either side for the first 20mins.
Then bang 66th mins Sigurdsson again 0-2
68th min Junior Hoilett was replaced by Josh Murphy and Mendez-Laing was replaced by Calum Paterson.
81mins Zohore was replaced by Danny Ward.
91mins 0-3
F/T 0-3

Why do we have the right to say we should take 4pts from two home games against established premier league sides I don’t understand your logic?
We needed points of course but we don’t have the right to say we should have got 4pts hugely outplayed by Watford and lacked any ideas against Everton deserved both losses in my opinion
Tue Feb 26, 2019 9:41 pm
Our own worst enemy. A lot of extra passing practice needed!! Gifted all goals again.
Tue Feb 26, 2019 9:41 pm
We need to go back to how we were playing before these games.
If we don’t, we’ll go down.
Tue Feb 26, 2019 9:42 pm
We are in complete free fall now. Warnock has sadly lost it and I think he is unable to turn it around. There is no sentiment in football and perhaps a gamble on a manager change and 'bounce' to get some points may be the last throw of the dice.
Tue Feb 26, 2019 9:43 pm
Warnock needs to take the blame
He has done a brilliant job but that does not protect him from criticism
10 games left we need to go for it all or nothing because time is running out. No point sitting back trying to steal points
Tue Feb 26, 2019 9:43 pm
We win the ball and give we it away.
Cheaply. Seen better über 10,s pass a ball to feet. Joe Bennett is worst than super Kev for giving the ball away.

Because we had home advantage and we are suppose to be fighting to stay up and if we can’t get 4pts from 6pts against the middle of the Prem teams when we are home, then not much hope then for us.

I wish I could disagree with the proprietor's comment, but I can't .
I'm so sad.
These were desperate tactics, trying to plY the old championship team with championship tactics.
We're not relagated yet, but we need nothing short of an odds defying cup run like series of results.
I've no idea how we've let it go like this.
Tue Feb 26, 2019 9:50 pm
Would you have taken being out of the relegation zone after 28 games?
OF COURSE YOU WOULD!
The last couple of games have been awful, but get behind the boys! Just two games ago we won back to back and we can do it again!
Bring on Wolves, they've just lost to Huddersfield!
BLUEBIRDSSSSS!
Tue Feb 26, 2019 9:50 pm
No spark.
No ideas.
No penetration.
No score.
Sounds like a really bad blind date!

Don’t get me wrong we were awful again but I don’t think we have a divine right to suggest we should be taking 4pts from a team in 7th and 10th respectively
Both playing well light years ahead in quality
Personally I think Warnock got it wrong again today game against such a bad set piece record was crying for Paterson to win flick ons and get in their faces in the box, also think we lacked anyone in the middle who could settle the game down no passer of the ball in there at all
very Dissapoitining for sure

Tue Feb 26, 2019 10:49 pm
We couldn't pass water tonight
I wonder what training they do ?
Everton poor team , point loomed
I don't think we have the will to stay up watching it tonight
Camerasa needs to sort his head out and play
Tue Feb 26, 2019 10:52 pm
Bennett and Manga were to blame for two of the goals. Manga is a liability at right back but he can only play where he's told I guess. I was hoping we would get at least a draw but as the game went on Everton got into their stride and we never looked like scoring. None of our players would get into either Watford's or Everton's first team on these displays. Mr Tan's car was outside the ground, I wonder what he's thinking now after shipping 8 goals in two games.
Come on Neil you can do it!!!

How are we going to score from open play ?
Bacuna was bought to be a cover right back and midfield stopper. Gunnar is a midfield stopper.
Bobby Reid is an attacking midfielder who is a runner.
The wingers lack quality for this level.
As we play Bruno as a right back he can't go beyond the half way line without panicking. Bennett is hit and miss.
Whoever is the striker has to do it themselves.........
Tue Feb 26, 2019 11:00 pm
Concerning - yes. But we are still punching above our weight.
I’m fed up and a little downhearted, but I’m still far ahead of you miserable bunch of b———s. We’re struggling, but so are a few other teams. Get yourselves a good night’s sleep, and start thinking positive. It’s football FFS, not life and death!
Tue Feb 26, 2019 11:03 pm
My biggest concern is we can’t seem to get the ball under control and make even if the simplest of passes to our own players. I think NW has got to decide now if SM plays at centre half or Bruno, if he sticks with SM, then Bruno should be benched and LP picked at right back or even CP. I’d prefer Bruno in the centre but him playing at full back, isn’t working andNW should accept that. I still feel we’ve got an outside chance if staying up, but if we continue to give the ball away and concede stupid goals, then we’ll be left behind and be relegated.
Tue Feb 26, 2019 11:17 pm
Embarrassing. Cant compete at this level. Looking forward to the championship next season now.

My sentiments exactly

tonight was strange, like the players, couldn't put two passes together, I was watching Warnock, he was going absolutely beer, thought he was going to kel over at one stage

imho tonight was worse than Watford, no desire or fight at all, neil really needs to get a grip of whatever is going on,because in my opinion, something is wrong, add that to Morrison coming in straight after surgery,no warm up games,so not match fit,but he gets back in anyway,I can understand loyalty, but only when it's earned,he must see this,or we are indeed destined for another spell in the championship, peltier played his best game for us,his reward

getting dropped,Morrison plays shit reward

a place in the team regardless. Wake up Neill, before you look back when season is over, and think,"I should have dropped him,and didn't, blind faith is seldom rewarded.mini rant over.

Annis, we have now also conceded 31 goals at home this season.
Tue Feb 26, 2019 11:40 pm
I'm not chucking the proverbial towel, as there are a lot of games to go yet; but tonight (for me) was worse than Friday's debacle
Tue Feb 26, 2019 11:53 pm
My view is We are just not good enough as a footballing team . We knew it was going to be tough from the beginning but thats just my personal opinion. Hope we can stay up but honestly i cant see it. Its not the end of the world if we go down is it ?
