Bruno Manga

Plays a terrible pass for the goal then pretty much walks back.
Not one defender apart from Morrison half heartedly throwing a body at the ball.
Shocking.

Not a RB a CB drop Morrison for him

That is what happens when you constantly make people play different positions.
How can anybody establish partnerships in our defence and midfield when it is constantly changed

I’m not buying that. Manga knows he’s a full back and he should be busting a gut to get back into position.
And players not throwing bodies at the ball is just mind blowing, I think I counted 4 or 5 just stood there not closing down. :banghead:

Wouldn’t of happened if Manga and Bamba were CBS

Warnock has lost his friggin marbles

You’re probably right as Pelts wouldn’t have played a lazy ball into the centre of the park.
The goal wasn’t Morrison’s fault! In fact, he was the only player to try and stop it from what I seen.

The problem is that Manga as a right back panics when given quick balls like that . As a centre back he is more natural and it shows a mile. He shouldn't be put in that position he needs to play centre

Manga at RB say no more

Tue Feb 26, 2019 10:19 pm

We down with him at RB and Morrison at CB. Slows the whole team down. Its painful to watch. What goes through warnock's head

Re: Bruno Manga

Awful pass into the centre of the pitch when under no pressure for 2nd goal.

As a team the number of times we gave the ball away tonight making an average Everton look good , so disappointing after the wins against Southampton and Bournemouth.....looking very difficult to see where another home win will come from so loookslike we are rely on winning away .....

Totally agree pelts needs to be right back

Re: Bruno Manga

He’s definately not a right-back, his distribution is poor, his position is centre-half but Warnock is always going to pick Morrison, who is not good enough for the Premier League in my opinion.
Our defenders decision making is costing us, you just cannot continue to make these mistakes as Premiership teams will punish us as we’ve found out the last 2 games.

Never thought id find myself in the premier league crying out for a 32 year old Lee Peltier to solidify our defence

bruno is a quality cb he puts fear of god into me when hes playing right back he pushes up then it takes one decent ball over top then hes screwed . allways rated pelts i know hes not everyones cup of tea but i think hes what the defence needs brings a bit of steel to the backline

People forgotten about jazz Richards??

Re: Bruno Manga

People need to remember, Manga is a centre back that Warnock puts at right back as he doesn’t want to drop him but feels like he has to also play bamba and Morrison. Manga shouldn’t be getting any blame for this, he’s playing out of position, when we got promoted, our 2 main targets were right back and striker, and although Reid is a striker, he’s not the striker that’s going to start up top on his own like we wanted (sala was) but over 2 windows we have failed to get a right back, that is not good enough by the club, how we are still without a right back after 2 windows I don’t know. I would play Richards but warnock doesn’t seem to keen and peltier is the same as manga, quality at centre back but struggles at right back (even though he’s a right back  )

Have said Manga is no fullback since his first game in that position. Pelts has to come in. Morriston should be dropped. He is all heart but cannot play the ball on the floor to save his life. Could be OK in the Championship next season.

Manga is no full back. I wish the penny would drop with Warnock.

Leave him at CB and he's class, not his fault he is being played out of position just to justify the managers love child having a game.

The problem is people are sticking up for him saying ohhh he isn't a full back blah blah...

All Manga had to do was knock it up the line if he was in trouble, its basic football.
I was criticising Ralls for so long and I realised what he actually brought to the team after watching him closely, I can't see what Manga brings to the team ( even at centre half ) after many debates on here about him.

I totally agree that Manga slows us down at full back and that you can't see what he brings to the team there.

However, if you can't see what he brings to us at centre back with his extra pace, passing ability and reading of the game above Morrison then I wonder what he has to do to convince you !!

I'm a huge Morrison fan I suppose. Manga would be a lot better in a tippy tappy team but for the style we play Morrison is certainly better in my opinion... get rid of the ball :thumbright:

What would football be without opinions eh! :laughing5:
