Warnock has players in for Sunday training

Sun Feb 24, 2019 9:26 am

Warnock has the players in for a Sunday morning training session after Fridays horror show. Expect a reaction Tuesday.

if everton do their homework they'll keep the ball away from Bamba and expect us to make it easy for them making the same basic mistakes. I'm still shocked by Warnock's selections last Friday but hey, he can't expect players to be lazy and day dreaming. Lot to be said for just putting your foot through the ball and banging it up field - all about decision making, and some of our players keep having black outs when making decisions?!?

Sunday training make sense and may already have been arranged before THAT result on Friday? :?

Otherwise, City will only have had Monday to discuss and work it out of their system and that would be worrying!

I wasn't confident before the Watford game (although I didn't expect that capitulation) but I have a good feeling that we will see a positive reaction versus Everton on Tuesday

Our supporters have been superb this season (at the stadium) and I have no doubt they will get behind the team again from the off; hopefully the team providing good reason to stay until the final whistle :thumbright:

A day for all to 'rest and reflect' was probably a good thing...

I learned a long time ago that 'Punishment Drill' was usually counter productive to those administering! :thumbright:

The problem was that the team who beat both Southampton and Bournemouth was changed for the match against Watford.

I think because Peltier was too ill to even play his part in the Watford game, that kind off forced warnock to choose something different with Morrison back in, personally I would simply choose a 4 4 2 system. Zohore and Paterson up front Mendez Laing and Hoilett on the wings Arter and Gunnarsson in midfield, and bennett bamba manga peltier at the back. Now this would be a very strong team, it is tough because it looked like Murphy has lost a bit of confidence in his game and is not as fiery as he was earlier on this season.

After the shambles that we saw on Friday night, id be surprised if their isn't a reaction vs Everton. I think Everton have gone something like 16 days without playing a game so im hoping they'll be a bit rusty. Im not sure if we'll get a win but I think we'll play a lot better and I reckon it will end up 1-1. You never know maybe a 2-1 win

For God sake your as bad as Warnock,Reid has to start and please oh please there has to be no place for Paterson or Hoilett in the starting 11 under any circumstance and if Camrasa surely has to start the game if fit of course, you sure your not Warnock using a sudernum

We seem to struggle each time we give the players extra time off, like last week, rather than freshen them up, it seems to make them more complacent.

Hopefully, Warnock will give them a right kicking and get them back on track!!!

True, & we had a similar situation last season, over the Xmas & new year period after time off.

This must be one of the stupidest posts I’ve read for a long time.
How can you call who comes on as a substitute and :o for which player before the match even starts?!??
