Wolves and our ticket office

Sun Feb 24, 2019 6:28 am

Spoke to the ticket office before the Watford game asked them where my Wolves tickets were as I ordered them over a week ago. They said that the tickets were being sent out on Monday and I should have them by Wednesday. I said what do I do if they don't come on time. They said they wolves phone Wolves for me to collect the tickets at Wolves. What a rediculous way to run distribution of tickets. We are supposed to be a premier league clubs, ticketing office needs to come up to this standard.

Can't see the issue with what the club have said? :?

You've asked them a question and they responded by saying the tickets are going out on Monday, so should be with you by Wednesday

You then asked a hypothetical question 'what if...?' and they said it would be sorted by collecting any outstanding tickets at the Wolves ground once they are aware

It's not uncommon for tickets to be sent out the week before a game (can you imagine what it was like before the FA Cup and League Cup Finals?) but there are protocols to sending them out

We had a similar issue with someone on here recently (tickets not delivered) and they were told the same before their tickets were held at the ground for collection, as promised

Worth noting supporters travelling on 'official' coaches don't get their tickets until they are on the bus

Hopefully, you'll come back on here Wednesday (the right time to 'have a pop' at the club is when your ticket(s) haven't arrived) to let us know if they have been delivered or not :thumbright:

Sven, I agree that this might not seem like a massive issue but to be fair he has a valid point, I'm sure Cardiff City, like most businesses run a post room and have a Royal Mail, DX, or whoever they use collection at the end of each working day, so in essence, if he ordered his tickets over a week ago as stated he should have had them by now. If it was being run efficiently all tickets sold on a day would be sent out that day, or the next. This isn't a hard process, or hard to manage. In fact, they would be making their lives easier as they won't have fans chasing them up, clogging the phone lines or adding to physical ques.

Got to be fair, I always understood tickets arrived at the club in one bulk and were sent out similarly
