With each other in Ninian stand - mostly over fans leaving early some scenes were ugly at times

Never got the leaving early arguments. If people want to leave early then let them, no big deal

Couple were having a shout at each other in front of me in 114.
Ralls substituted, one got up to clap him off and a guy behind commented how shit he’d been. Cue the slagging match.
Cool down lads - it’s all opinions mun.

Loads of arguments in 116/7

Wez I think the main problem is that the die hard positives (me included) get hacked off with the negativity at every opportunity spouted by some.
Of course we were poor but Watford were excellent.
We’re still not in bottom three, bring on Everton I say. Then watch the responses here if we win. :bluescarf:

Well spoken,as soon as we have a bad day,on they come to rip into Warnock and the players :banghead: as neil alluded to,they are the best side, outside the top six  we were shabby at best, but we get up,dust ourselves of,and go again,it's not over until the physically rotund lady sings, bearing in mind,we were supposed to have been relagated by Christmas, well we ain't, :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

I hate it we are supporters, we support our team but losing and they leave?? That's not support thats being a glory supporter coming along solely for the good times.

Quite a few leave when we're winning aswell, and it's entirely up to them to decide when they do. Calling people glory supporters because they chose not to stay until the very end is a tad unfair.

I’m a ST holder and live in Salisbury. It was murder getting up Friday afternoon, left my house at 2 and got to Cardiff around 6:20 so the last thing I wanted to see was us get a complete dicking but I still stayed until the end to make sure I clapped the players off. Yeah okay some were terrible but others like Sol, Arter and Paterson gave 110%

I never leave early but had arranged to meet friends for a curry before it was changed so left 10mins before end, but yes i don't understand fans leaving early, but it's there choice

I am a season ticket holder who does a 240 mile round trip to games. With about 5 minutes to go, I normally move from my seat towards the back of the Ninian Stand, down to seats at the front - it saves adding 30 minutes to a 2.5 journey home.

Friday was a 4 hour drive to Cardiff and I totally left when 4-0 down - people leaving early isn’t a sign of ‘abandoning the team’ or the sign of some kind of ‘glory hunter’ only there for the good time, but sometimes ‘practicality’ gets in the way of normal life!

It’s funny how the debate about leaving early always gets raised, but never the one about the 1000s still drinking pints at the bars when the teams come out onto the pitch, or those that head down for pints after about 25 minutes! Personally if you pay your money, you should be able to watch the game however you want provided it doesn’t ruin it for anyone else.

haha glory supporters, ive been a season ticket holder and supporter for 49 years and if i want to go early because i dont like what im watching i will, i left at 4-0 but ill be back for the Everton game and if we get relagated ill still renew my season ticket, its a supporters choice what time he or she leaves the game it dont make them a glory supporters

Re: Cardiff fans fighting

I sometimes move down from ninian stand with 10/15mins left and pop into canton end so i can stand and sing my head off which is more difficult to do in the ninian, last season i was in the canton end but this season the misses wanted a season ticket so chose ninian, the other reason for leaving to switch to canton stand is it takes 20 mins to exit the ninian sometimes.

You can laugh all you like, I find it laughable you call yourself a supporter but don't support your team when they're under the kosh. You can go on and on about how many years, season ticket holder etc etc but freely admit you'll get up and leave your team to it....top support.

Re: Cardiff fans fighting

There are a number of reasons people leave.

It's up to the individual person what they do with there time and money. Nobody else has a right to say anything.

Sometimes leave with 5 mins to go to get out early and onto the road before all the traffic for my 2 hour journey home. Dont give a shit what people think it's my choice

yes i did get up and leave because it was my choice just like it was your choice to stay, why dont you get yourself a life and watch the game and dont worry what other people are doing and if theres a supporter of the season award youll get my vote, and when we left the ground we went on the piss and and we talked about our trip to wolves saturday, thats if you dont mind us glory supporters going

How pathetic fans fighting because they have made a personal choice to leave early.

Re: Cardiff fans fighting

Maybe just maybe 15-20000 fans talking with their feet, and leaving early, will get more of a positive reaction from the players, than those who stay til the end singing 3 Little Birds and Were 4-1 down, don't give a ....

There are too many self righteous fans who believe they have the right to dictate what fans can or can't do.
At the end of the day sport is entertainment and where you go 4-0 down and playing like dross people have a right to leave

That’s the crux of it. But those people are like that anyway, despite supporting a football team.

Probably not but I’d not have a problem with anyone else if they did.
I see people leaving 10 mins before the end of s game when the result is on a knife edge and whereas I’m astonished that they could do it, it is completely up to them.

I agree with this. Imagine how the players feel when they hear support one minute. So called fans turning their back the next.

Stay until the end and demonstrate that we are together. Good times and bad.

I don't mind people leaving early, although I don't do it. Especially at 4 or 5 behind.

What I can't understand is when people leave when its only 1-0 or level. You could miss the most important moment of the game!
