Morrison should not have played, he’s 4 weeks or there abouts post op and you could see he wasn’t 100%, Murphy looked well out of his depth, a few excellent balls playing him through and he was caught on his heels, no tracing back, loads of mistakes and Niasse struggled without help.

3 or 4 players going for every ball seemed to be the trend for this match which resulted in tackling each other....school boy errors. Nobody seemed to know what position they were playing. Comes to something when Bamba and Bennet are attacking from defence, even our goal could have gone to any one of 3 players.

The ref was totally abysmal, he bottled all the big decisions, clear penalty and Niasse pulled down by the last man and the ref gives a yellow Everything went against us, all the little decisions and 50/50’s went Watford’s way, think frustration showed in a few of the lads out there tonight,

Arter applauding the ref for giving them a free kick that should have been ours, case and point Zaha did the exact same a few weeks back and got a red card. Paterson gave up playing football and started with the rugby tackles that are better placed down the road at the egg bowl.

Reid should have started plain and simple, Morrison should have been on the bench at least. Bacuna and Bennet both looked strong playing from the back, Bacuna kept Paterson on task until NML came in and he went central.

A few times Jr Hoilett was open in the last half hour and the balls went inside instead and we lost possesion.

I think the cup weekend break came at the wrong time, I agre the players needed a break after the past few weeks but in hindsight they should have gone to a warm weather training camp instead
