No team should get beat 5-1 at home

Fri Feb 22, 2019 9:47 pm

Where was the passion, the hunger, the fire!

Morrison is no captain, he’s a bottler and liability, he should hang his head in shame, Bamba 1000 times better than this clown! Murphy is shite, we lack so badly on the wing, Reid gets dropped when he’s one of our better players and Niasse has no support way up in no mans land

Warnock you got it massively wrong tonight

Fulham lost so let’s hope Spurs Hudders and Arsenal do is a favour this weekend

I could edit it but can't be arsed, but in summary no team should concede five at home three times in a season and that's before Liverpool arrive, 15-2, and that damning stat will be the goal difference that dooms us. Oh and by Morrison and Warnock do one.

A performance like that and you’re worried about goal difference? I doubt it will be a factor at all........

It is a factor though, we are below Newcastle on goal difference because of regular ability of completely imploding, one goal usually leads to 3 or 4 more rather than having the guts to try and lose respectably.

We are losing the crowd by backing off teams, the need to get at em and press further up the pitch is my recommendation. We look scared and it is why many fans are switching off after half hour. We cannot defend like this, :ayatollah: :ayatollah: Watford have exposed this in both games against them. Exactly the same pattern. The first twenty minutes is vital and we are allowing teams to settle down and build there confidence.

I think the plan is not to press teams too much early on as the players we have would be cream-crackered late on in the game... Hence why we are so successful at winning points late on in matches.

Watford are an exceptionally clinical side with a very highly rated team, but even they lost 0-4 at home to Bournemouth.

I don't think people quite understand the level of the Premier League. We were always going to have a few games where we take a hammering as we haven't had chance to progress as much as some other teams.

But let the meltdown continue! I'm sure a few will change their tune if we beat Everton.

I'm not sure how you could look at some of the squads on paper compared to ours and NOT expect to take a battering on a few occasions.

That's the way it goes. We've won most of our points at home matches because we have a go a bit more, but conversely, it can be where we get picked off as we don't have the pace in the side to stop the better teams counter-attacking us
