58 years ago today!

Cardiff City beat Newcastle 3-2 at Ninian Park on 22nd February 1961 in the old First Division. The Saturday before they had beaten Arsenal 3-2 at Highbury. These 2 victories were followed by a 3rd successive victory when we beat Wolverhampton Wanderers on 25th February - again by 3-2! According to the records available this was the last time City won 3 in a row in the top division of the football league.
Actually, we won 3 in a row twice in that season!

The last time we won 4 in a row in Division1 was in 1956 - that was also in February!
