Pay Nantes the money? At a time when the camp needs to be together to fight a relegation battle we do not need this distraction. Nantes have been crass and insensitive but Sala is our player. We can pay up and then claim back through insurance as well as looking into the whole matter without a timeframe. Sir Neil and the players can then concentrate on football matters without the fear of possible points deduction and/ or transfer embargo. We do not need any negativity in this regard and we must do our utmost to preserve our Premiership status.
Finally, the Sala family do not need this. What a shame Nantes could not conduct themselves with more dignity. As for the agents. If you are putting on pressure to be paid - hang your heads in shame.

I don't think that'll pressure the team. That glorified insurance assessor bloke is just blowing smoke out of his ass / they're not going to deduct points or impose transfer embargoes.

It all depends what the club are waiting on, we know they’ve said they will pay, we know they are waiting for the outcome of the search/investigation. But what else are they waiting on? Insurance? International Clearing? We don’t know, all we do know is that Sala was announced as a Cardiff player ‘pending clearance’ so are they waiting on that clearance......

I say let us fans not worry about the politics of football, that’s down to MD and KC to sort out, we need to get behind the team and give them the support they deserve and hopefully they can do their job on the pitch and get us the points we need
