“ FA Cup replays today / shocks including Newport? “

Tue Feb 05, 2019 7:07 pm

I know there is a bit of history between us and County, but I hope they beat borough tonight. On BT Sport.

Brentford v Barnet

Newport County v Middlesbrough (BT Sport)

QPR v Portsmouth

West Brom v Brighton (Weds, BBC)

Wolves v Shrewsbury Town

I think they will, they’ve been quite lucky playing at home against bigger teams recently.

Yep, very unlucky. Lenny Lawrence in the county dugout, and Rudy Gustead on the bench for Borough.

Seen bits and pieces of the County match, playing very well. Deserve the lead.

Shrewsbury holding Wolves 2-2 at Molineux as well.

Newport were the better team from start to finish. Not only did they want it more, but they outplayed Boro in every area tonight. Another very deserved win, I wish them well.

Well deserved victory again by Newport,I wonder if they want to borrow our ground for Manchester City game?
I wish our fringe players could manage to win Cup games,as Premier League team we should be looking to win it! Jacks should be in last 8 by beating Brentford, that should be us if we took Cup games seriously?

Played in goal for Boro tonight against county. Anyone remember him drop the ball over the line in 2009 when he played for us to give Wolves the 2-2 draw :x

Well done Newport. They must have saved themselves for last night after their defeat against Grimsby on Saturday.
I was at the Wolves game when he dropped the ball over the line. Ex Swansea goalkeeper on loan to us i believe. I remember Roger Johnson scoring one of our goals and Bothroyd went off injured!
