As a massive dog lover myself and there are many of us there, these photos break my heart and knowing that Emiliano Sala went back to Nantes to arrange for his dog to come to Wales and that they spent hours every day together walking through the country side

Emiliano’s Sister put these photos out on the weekend

Annis, the whole episode is heartbreaking, let's all prey that they find his body in the plane and then allowing his family to lay him to rest and have closure on this tragedy. RIP EMILIANO SALA.

I agree Paul, but I am also so sad for his dog as he will never understand what’s happened to his owner that he loved so much.

My dog used to sleep in my room when I moved to uni few years ago.. she barely goes upstairs in my house.. stuff like this really gets to me.. the connection between a dog and owner can be so powerful.

Annis that is heartbreaking, remember an auntie of mine passing on a few years ago and her dog used to go and lay down by her chair then few weeks passed and the dog just died in his sleep.
This photo and the one a while back of the dog sitting looking at G W Bush's coffin show that dogs seem to know but not quite understand why their owners have left them.

Hopefully nala will give Romina some much needed comfort at this horrendous time. She will also feel another conection to her brother through the dog. Dogs are incredible at times like this and hopefully they can help each other through this.

I lost my collie cross over 3 years ago and came on here about it and had some very kind messages from other posters, I now look after my daughter's and son in law's husky and collie cross a few days a week when they are both in work, and if I go out she is waiting at the front door for me when I get back, and she waits at the door for about an hour before they come to pick her up, so I can see why Sala's dog is looking for him. It is such a sad sight I hope the dog will be looked after ok. God bless Sala his family and his dog. Also thoughts for the pilot and his family

referring to my "cry me a river remark"
Its a song
It means you are so sad you could cry a river
Look lads I lost a 4 year old kid to cancer all I have got left is a headstone
Youve probably walked over his brick on the city walk.
There’s no way I would make a derogatory remark about Emi
