I was meaning to mention this for ages, but was only reminded of it from a post about our fans I read earlier.
Obviously there's a small but loud section of our fans who sing and chant tirelessly throughout the whole game. My question is why can't it be organised where we have them spread out around the whole stadium to encourage others to join in and make this stadium ridiculously loud.
Like, if I'm honest, I hear the crowd at the canton stand and I really want to join in but because of my personality and confidence issues I could never dream of being the only person doing that in my stand. But I would definetely join in if there was a good 10 or so fans around me getting involved. It just seems I really want to join in and see people around me wanting to too, like we quietly sing the songs and stuff but it fades out due to awkwardness. Can't we somehow (as silly as it sounds) have an organised spread of confident fans who aren't scared of starting chants in large crowds, can't we have that sort of group spread around the ground? I know it sounds stupid but I know for a fact everyone in the stadium would join in every time as long as people around them would somewhat drown out their own voice or atleast be on the same level. It's just so awkward being the only person singing in a crowd of 300 around me.

Why not just go into the Canton?
Logistically I'm not sure how the club would do it and then I guess you have to ask what makes someone a passionate fan.
Then with so few seats available (if we stay up) it's not really practical to force people to move.

There's a loophole around everything. If they announced now that the block in the Ninian, right by tbe Canton was standing, as well as the, for arguments sake, the top half on tbe rest of the blocks going down to the away end. That would give people a chance to change their seats when they renew for next season.
I think in theory what I just said could work. Again in theory.

Do you go in a group? I know those who start chants in the corner of the canton go in a group of about 10 or so and start chants together. Maybe next season you could see if you could get a few mates who may already be season ticket holders to move over to you

if the back row of the Ninian stand it blocks the view of anyone sat in the front row of the middle tier { poor design tbh } and of course once the front row of that tier stand up ,everyone in there has to.

Really poor design cause how can people standing behind people sitting, block the view?

Because the middle tear is just behind them, it's hardly raised at all.

I did not see your apology as we must have been posting the same time. .
thing is its not been mentioned much because the stand has not been used much. but in effect if the main Ninian stand up it makes some of the most expensive seats a standing area. .its also why the stewards in the Ninian get called all sorts for making fans sit.

I sat in the first row of them last season for the Cup game and was surprised how close they were to the level below.

My mates and I stand under the scoreboard in the corner of the Canton, this sounds like us. There’s a good bunch in block 103 (mostly people I’ve met through the football) who love to sing, although our vocals are quite limited.
Come and join us next season, you’ll love it, plus we could do with more numbers as losing my voice seems to be a regular occurrence.

SAVIGMA. I totally get where you are coming from. A full stadium of noise would be truly amazing. I'm sat at front row of grandstand just along a couple seats from the away dugout. I'm the loudest there and probably have a lot of cringe moments but who gives a crap. I ain't really got a lot of confidence but let it go every Saturday for our club.
What I'm trying to say is just go for it. I've found the more I chant and the louder the more people slowly but surely join in. It's confidence with most but you will get stronger with it.
It was truly inspiring on Saturday with the song for Sala and makes me proud to be a bluebird. Best club in the world.

The singing section in the CCS isnt small, its basically the whole canton now.
If you want to sing then stand in the canton.
You're not allowed to stand in other parts of the stadium, seating areas and consistent chanting dont work.
I could go on...

The only place you can stand is the Canton. Anywhere else all you get is hustle. Maybe see if you can get to the corner between the Canton and Ninian because that is getting lively now. But for now have a couple of sherbets and sing your freaking heart out. The Canton is the best and loudest stand in the Premier. Maybe it needs to be expanded to the corners now with singers that want to join in.
