Bobby Reid

Absolutely the best player on the pitch saturday he was everywhere. Amazing link up play with niasse and tracking back to defence. He's been working hard to get in team and I think he's gonna shine between now and end of season and prove people wrong who said he was a waste of money. Same with Murphy, a lot better from him Saturday.

Agreed, Reid and Niasse are going to bring the best out in each other

Have to agree there.

One thing I loved about Murphy on the weekend was going forward, Bournemouth couldn't handle him.
But, on top of that, he was also tracking back and pretty much had Clyne in his pocket!

100%
I've been pointing out his immense talent for a long time and been ridiculed for saying that he's a potential future England player. I was beginning to fear that the muffins who don't understand the first bloody thing about football would drive him to another club before he matured.
He needs a target man just in front of him to play forward and I think that's what Sir Neil had in mind when he bought him, but of course no one knew at that time that Ken would lose interest and not bother trying anymore. With the arrival of Niasse it's a whole new ball game for Bobby Reid and I think we've seen a little taste of what us possible .

Mind you, as a side issue, I must say that when Ken came on he did engage there for a while. Last time he bothered to put a shift in was when Madine arrived so maybe he needs that challenge to his big salary to prompt a bit of effort .

If ken can perform like that and niasse kicks on from his good start we will be in with a shout in sure.

What pleased me about ken 8s he had one chance in his time be was on. He was on target. Made the keeper work and won a corner. Good return really!

Yeah and he was really fighting in the corner when we were minutes left and showing his strength.

Reid has impressed me everytime he has played behind the striker, not sure why it hasn't been more often but hopefully he gets a run now.

I don’t think Murphy has had the credit he deserves. Clyne didn’t get any freedom whatsoever, and when Murphy was attacking seemed to always beat him. He even give a little smile when the canton started singing ‘Murphy f**k him up’ it’s one thing that’s let him down this season was his defensive duties. But his performance was as good as anyone else.

Murphy aint a natural defender the way he plays and you can see he really has to think about that side of his game but he kept at it and was excellent.

Agreed. After the Spurs games I feared for him as he didn't do any tracking back and was one of the reasons why we were 3-0 down and his was hauled off at half-time.

But to be fair to the guy he obviously listened and learnt and was outstanding against Clyne who is no mug.

If he carries on like he did on Saturday he will be picked every week and will deserve it.
