While you are waiting just Google make model of boiler make way to faults and hopefully give you info required, did this about refilling my boiler so simple after looking it up..

I have googled, seems it could be a number of things. Hopefully someone can diagnose whats wrong with it before I get someone out tomorrow.

Thats a shame several possibilities looks like a job for plumber to give definitive answer as need to see it operating before diagnosis

No lights, or error codes. Basically the hot water works, but central heating wont come on when switched to ON, when put on TIMER it then works. When I knock it to OFF position it then stays on which then only way it goes off is to knock it of at main point???

Its a Worcester boiler any ideas of price for new timer?

When you setup the timer to a specific time on, then a specific time off, does it switch on & off correctly? If so, it sounds like your on/off switch is faulty.

The on/off switch is part of the timer control anyway so il just buy a new timer. Easy to change video on Youtube shows take cover off before unplugging timer and basically the oppossite to install. Cheers . Saves me a big plumber bill.

I had a similiar issue, a m,ate pulled the wire from the back on the timer and i never had the issue again
