Yesterday for me Warnock got it absolutely spot on . We were great all over the pitch . Niasse gives us an outlet from defence and the ball sticks which gives our midfield and defence a breather and better field position . Niasse makes the runs into the channels and his speed of thought is of a striker which is something Patterson doesn’t have (no fault of his as it’s not his natural position)
With Niasse occupying their back line it then gives Bobby Reid space to work and my god does he work , he tires yes but he puts a shift in , I didn’t notice the long throws into the box yesterday , I was happy with that as we can play a bit , I am pleased Warnock picked a positive team with positive tactics, we turned their defence around all night , it was the best performance I have seen all season and gives me optimism we can do this .
The atmosphere is the best I have witnessed too , Warnock has done a truly amazing job galvanising the whole club , if we do get relegated I hope he stays and has a crack at getting us back up . Plus if we go get relegated which I hope we don’t then I for one will still be chanting his name .
