Motd running order.

I’ve always been suspicious of it being claimed that there’s a bias against City on motd, but for us to be 5th in the running order after a perfomance like that and with all the tributes and circumstances surrounding the game has stunned me. Leicester were first on when they played us following their own tragedy so I can’t understand what reason there is for us being so far down. A 5-0 Chelsea win against bottom of the league and Spurs scraping a 1-0 win against another lower side are hardly groundbreaking enough to be the first two games. I wouldn’t expect to be first but it’d be nice to be one of the first few featured games so we get some sort of analysis rather than a vague summary of the game. The only reason i can imagine is that Warnock’s remarks about Lineker probably annoyed someone on the production team!

Of course not, i didn’t mean it to come across like that. What i meant was in terms of the emotional circumstances surrounding the game and the lack of so called big games on today, i was surprised to see us so far down the pecking order.

Yeah tbf, you’re right. Its my inner child wanting to see us be on first for once. Maybe when we thrash Chelsea 4-0 we might get there!
