Callum Paterson

He played his socks off today up and down the wing, covering for Pelts and getting up into attack, he made one or 2 errors but dug in to get the ball back or clear it. Deserved his spot today.

Very much so.

If we play 532 at Southampton he’s gonna be crucial to that.

What’s his ratings like on FIFA 19? He must have full marks for determination.

He is a hard one to judge
On one hand his work rate and sheer determination to chase every little thing is pivitol to our way of playing

On the other hand technically he is not quite good enough but somehow gets away with it

We need the pace and delivery of a Harris or Mendez on the right but we cant lose Patterson's grit.

Must be a hard call for Warnock

Thought he was poor first half, much better second.

He played down in front of me in the 1st half, got penalised for a few things that should have gone city’s way, the linesman on the grandstand side was well off the pace of play during the 1st half

Will you feck off with the FIFA references, you sound like a broken record now

Doubted Patterson this season when he was upfront played better the past 2 games seems like his is much better in that position.

He did well today.

But we may as well have been playing with ten men for the last 15 minutes, he was knackered.

I honestly thought that Bacuna was coming on for him when the physio came on

Ha ha I can’t help it. Only 4 more times and I’m done.

He did well.

I thought he looked a decent right back at times today, but he did work hard no doubting, attacking wise I wanted a nml or hoilett on instead, but defensively he was spot on. He is hard to judge, not blessed with quality, but puts a shift in. The sort of player you’d hate to play against but be unsure as to why.

I thought they all played well today, we looked decent

I'm not so sure, a few times he got lost and I thought thankfully Paltier is near by.

He wasn’t playing right back.

He was playing on the right of midfield. At one point during the second half he was on the left side of the pitch if he was playing in defence I’d very much doubt he’d of just fucked off like that and left his defensive position

I am fully aware he wasn’t playing right back, but when pelts was man marking he was doing dragged everywhere, Paterson on times dropped in to fill in and did a good job in doing so.

Love Paterson ...gives 100% where ever he plays...aWarnick type if ever there was one...limited at times but great player for the city

Re: Callum Paterson

I said to my nipper that you dont have to be technically gifted for city fans just 101% committed. He fits that bill.

i thought his spell as a striker was over as we caught all that we were going to do with that trick. But, there maybe more mileage in him as a right wingback/midfielder, he adds the beef up front so the striker is not the only focal point.

Going to be a legend....He'll end up as a centre half

Evident all season what a asset he has been yet he has taken some stick on here from our technical experts who know better than Warnock.
