Another important fixture for us today but with a difference.

Today we pay our tributes to Emiliano Sala, and our thoughts are with him, his family, and the pilot Dave Ibbotson and family.

Whether you think the transfer window was good bad or indifferent the fact, Cardiff City Football Club has been part of an unprecedented incident which at this time is still surrounded in mystery.

The emotional affect has been there for all to see on the manager, the staff, the players, and the supporters. Although Emiliano never played for us the human tragedy of this incident has connected to everyone involved with the player.




I ask of every Cardiff City fan attending the Bournemouth game today, to show respect? We must get behind the team to do this together and support them as one through these tough times. They did us proud first half of the season and I see no reason why they can't repeat it with our support.

On to today' tribute, please can you get to your seats by 5.20pm especially those in blocks 101 to 111 where you will be requested to raise the cards during the minutes tribute. Supporters will also be given Daffodils on the turnstiles as they go in. We will also inviting two Nantes supporters to join us on the pitch and carry the banner around during the tribute. The tribute will look similar to the photo attached.

I think It we be fantastic today if all supporters stayed until the end , whatever the score to clap the team and manager off after they have all been through so much . Doesn’t matter if you have to wait in the car park for an hour to get out . Stay and show why we are the best supporters around.

Good shouts lads, but the True City fans should not need to be told. Come on City come on. Do it for Sala. God Bless him and his family.
