Ambition is shocking

Spending £27m in summer and having niasse arter camarassa on loan and buying bacuna for £3’m in January is simply not good enough. yes we spent on sala which is unfortunate but surely he would be insured. Awful transfer window hello championship

Re: Ambition is shocking

We broke our transfer record in this transfer window. You are deluded. Go and support Man City you clown

Re: Ambition is shocking

We should have done better in the summer, but Warnock didn't have the backing. Now its just desperation, and i rather not..
We dont have any squad depth, but with a bit of luck we can do it with the personell we got. If Warnock got his answers that is..

People forgot that we spent months on Sala. Honestly some don't have a jar of glue how football scouting and negotiations work!

Cardiff City have been knocked back in a bid for top striking target Wesley Moraes after his club demanded €30million for their Brazilian ace, according to reports in Belgium.

The Bluebirds have been looking at signing a striker after the tragic disappearance of Emiliano Sala , with Club Brugge star Moraes said to be on their radar.

But Belgian media outlet Nieuwsblad claim that Brugge want as much for €30m for Moraes, with a €20m bid reportedly having been made.

The 22-year-old Brazilian has scored eight goals and laid on six assists this season, catching the eye of Cardiff - who have also looked at Jupiler League top scorer Mbwana Samatta this month.

They must of had other targets other than sala yes it’s awful what’s happened but u need to stay in the premier league cos u might not get here for years to come bearing in mind they had all summer to get decent players in

Not at all! And honestly, i thought a striker was the one we where missing up to this point. I dont anymore. We got everything we need up front! Juste because we are playing Paterson dosent mean we are short..

If Sala was playing for us now, i expect most fans would be reasonably happy. The club can hardly be held responsible for the sad events of last week. Like someone said earlier, some posters can't wait to slate the club at every opportunity. Just broke our transfer fee record, but still not good enough for some.

If the club bought a decent striker in the summer we would be much higher up table end of story

I expect most fans would be reasonably happy.?
take a long hard look at the names of posters who have waited till deadline day to shoot their loads.. its the same people that were singing the same tune prior to finding out we were spending 15 million..
the Sala deal just put them on pause.

I would disagree here, Warnock stated he had more to spend, but he dithered and got shafted on a couple fronts. Winter should have been to add if needed not to add because we are desperate. He has left us deep in it, but we can’t complain it’s frowned upon, just have to welcome with open arms each point we manage to scrape together until May.

It's not the ambition that's shocking (that would be fantastic), it's the lack of it that hurts.

We probably didn’t expect anything other than relegation since August :bluebird:

If we go down again I would rather tan leave. Why? Because he can't fund our stability in the prem. Lack of ambition.

And if our history of attracting mega bucks owners is anything to go by we'll probably end up with someone that would struggle to keep us in the championship.Honestly look where we are and who got us there.

So do most fans of the majority of the clubs playing throughout England and Wales. Unfortunately, there is not a big queue of wealthy people looking to buy football clubs. If Tan leaves, where does our money come from then?

Why you posting lies again?

Warnock stated himself he had money that he didn't use so how the hell is that not being backed?

Totally agree, while Warnock might not have had huge backing he did have backing, if anything we didn't use the money well enough in the summer.

Got to be the most idiotic post I have ever seen.

No respect for the club at all.

Re: Ambition is shocking

Fri Feb 01, 2019 6:04 pm

having accrued massive debts as a result of financial mismanagement under successive owners, it's probably for the best that we are finally being run sustainably.

looking at very average players going for £10-15m who are barely better than what we've got, i think warnock has spent the money wisely.

the last thing we want is to be stuck with a bunch of high earners next season if we do go down.
