Just because SSN say no more doesn’t make it gospel, there is still 4hrs 40mins left of the transfer window, clubs are not going to be up front about deals, they want to try and keep things behind closed doors so the other teams don’t know what we’re doing.

I also believe there would have been maybe another to come in, but with the circumstances obviously denied us the opportunity. Nobody from the club would have really been doing much in regards to transfers last week.

You'll never get quality players signing for Cardiff, big players will only sign for big clubs. We are a mid size championship Club so that's the kind of player we will always attract. Talking about ‘size’ of clubs is nonsense. Ultimately what counts to potential signings are wages and position in the table. A side that is 50:50 to stay up (at best) and is being sensible not to load ourselves with debt inducing wages will always find it hard.

Looks like this announcement is proving to be the most accurate of the lot!
