Relegation is accepted by the club then. Lets face it Becuna on a four and half year deal is planning for next season in the championship. If the size of the clubs ambition was to sign just Sala and Becuna that's simply not good enough. I will enjoy the final few games in the premier league but the transfer policy, scouting and planning for this has been absolutely awful by the club. What a waste of an opportunity this year has been.

Christ it's not easy signing players :laughing6: did you honestly think Zlatan and Rooney would be upfront?

Just because SSN say no more doesn’t make it gospel, there is still 4hrs 40mins left of the transfer window, clubs are not going to be up front about deals, they want to try and keep things behind closed doors so the other teams don’t know what we’re doing.

Nice to see we’ve been written off already, proves the point of my recent defeatist attitude post

I also believe there would have been maybe another to come in, but with the circumstances obviously denied us the opportunity. Nobody from the club would have really been doing much in regards to transfers last week.

Relegation accepted? We've just had the most traumatic 10 days in our club's history and your spouting this rubbish! Get over yourself

Yep, just like we were preparing for League 1 when we signed Etheridge and Mendez-Laing...Chump.

You'll never get quality players signing for Cardiff, big players will only sign for big clubs. We are a mid size championship Club so that's the kind of player we will always attract. We are a small club in the PL, the sooner fans realise this the easier transfers will be to except. We are not a LeedsUtd size club we are Cardiff city size club :bluebird:

Talking about ‘size’ of clubs is nonsense. Ultimately what counts to potential signings are wages and position in the table. A side that is 50:50 to stay up (at best) and is being sensible not to load ourselves with debt inducing wages will always find it hard.

Exactly. Even the Jack's survived for 6 or 7 seasons. We're bigger than all of them.
