Look on the bright side. :bluescarf:
We've got a cracking Championship team, doh
Can't wait to get back down, at least we can compete.

I'm not sure if you're being serious or not.

Firstly, let's all wait and see what the rest of the season brings before assuming that we will be relegated.

And if we were relegated our team in the Championship would be radically different to what it is now.

Etheridge would likely be gone - is Smithies that good?
Arter and Camarasa would never stay with us in the Championship.
Gunnar would be gone as the only reason he stayed is because we were in the PL.

So that's the majority of our midfield gone.

Reid and Murphy have yet to become regular starters. Ken is hot and cold (mostly cold).

Niasse wouldn't want to play in the Championship. Bamba will be in his mid thirties.

Not sure that what we'd have left would be good enough to get us back up any time soon.

I don't know if I could face a third one season sortie into the EPL!!

Compete ok yes - but another promotion - please explain what would be the point?

I think VT will sell if we go down. We would look to be back up within 5 years, but it's tough so may never happen. I think as a club our level is a decent championship outfit. That's what we have been for quite a few seasons now. Leave the big league to the big boys :bluebird:
