Leandro BACUNA

Thu Jan 31, 2019 10:49 am

A couple of tweets linking us with Bacuna on Twitter, one saying that he had a medical yesterday and the other from a local reporter. Surprise link however it is deadline day.

Currently with Reading & played in the Premiership with Villa.

Delayed with my typing. Didn’t see the other link. Look like it’s happening as there is another Reading club reporter saying that it’s a done deal. Quite a surp really although we have had many knock backs from other players. Let’s wait & see I suppose.

not doing cartwheels but someone that can play right back and has done in our division is better than not signing anyone.

Possibly the best possible signing when you take into account his quality on the ball, his 3m cost which is nothing, and coming from the championship to us his wages should be relatively low.
Experience
Solid right back
Only recently moved to midfield because he’s THAT good at his creativity.
Fantastic work rate

Definitely will be our best full back at the club. He’s more important than any other position we could’ve signed. Absolutely chuffed with that

I dont know a lot about this player? Will he be used as a right back or centre midfielder?

Is this the bloke who scored a free kick against us at Villa Park the last time we were in the Premier League?

Can't remember if he played midfield or full back that game.

I'm sure he scored a freekick past us last time we were in PL fat Villa Park??

If it was him, he had a great game that day. in midfield I think.

Would have preferred Chris Gunter, can play right across the back line

I expect AV3 will be on to tell us what he thought of him at Villa ???

I remember him being ok, nothing special, but probably an improvement on what we've got, so overall a slight improvement in the first 11.

He was especially needed because Manga has to come inside to cover for Morrison's injury if he plays well it well it could mean Bamba or Manga on the bench when Morrison is fit.

Yes, it is him. Was at the game when he scored from a cracking free kick. Not done a lot since & a lot of Reading fans on Twitter happy that he is leaving.
