Cardiff outplayed Arsenal in the first half and were slow to get off the mark slowly but was well organised, this of course makes it a bit of a shame when a lack of concentration from Manga leads to a penalty for Arsenal and eventually another goal in which Sol Bamba made an error or 2. So in my opinion we should of been 2 or even 3-0 up going into half time, but thats just our luck really any other match we could of put away the chances.
So it was an encouraging performance from us even though we lost, we lost by being the better team and if we continue this strong performance onto Bournemouth at home then there should not be too many problems. Also my favourite player in the team Nathaniel Mendez-Laing got a sweeping goal at the end which will help with his confidence for the rest of this season.
So I am not too down beat because if you think about it Cardiff did not make a lot of errors during the Arsenal match, we did a great job against a top 6 big team.
Also it was great to see Ken Choo and Mehmet Dalman coming to talk to our fans. Before the match.
Also former Bluebird Stuart O Keefe went to the match and watch with us fans in the stands which was great to know about, also Joe Bennett suffered further heartache only a few days ago, so huge credit goes to him because he could of not played but a great character and sportsmanship from his part.
Also on a positive note great to see former Bluebirds Aaron Ramsey clapping us with our team and also did the ayatollah.
