Everyone’s just rejecting us at the moment, Almany Toure now rejected a move which is disappointing, seems like this deal with Lille is the biggest chance we have of getting a right back and striker in tomorrow

If this is a dig, then I haven’t said different, it’s been mentioned on twitter and a few sources, doesn’t look unrealistic like others posting about Zlatan.
If your being genuine then fair enough

Only when other posters gave him some credence regarding sala signing,do you actually changed your mind

Charlie Austin or Vincent Jansson looks more likely to be honest, can see us struggling to get a right back in tomorrow, players not keen to join a relegation battle on deadline day unless they are very unhappy, think we’ll get at least 1 name in tomorrow though!

Hopefully Austin, don’t think he’d pass a medical at the moment though as he’s got an ankle injury

Tomorrow going to be a very interesting and long day, warnock has said about 2 defensive deals and no striker. But I can see us getting a striker tomorrow, I dunno why

Cardiff City transfer digest: Full-back deal could include former Chelsea and Newcastle striker

Cardiff City have reportedly seen a proposed move for Monaco defender Almany Toure fall through.

Toure is out of contract at Stade Louis II this summer, and looks likely to be moved on sooner rather than later after falling out of favour this season.

The 22-year old has made just five appearances for the Ligue 1 club this term, but Cardiff nevertheless identified him as a possible option to help shore-up their defence and strengthen their bid for Premier League survival.

But according to Football Insider, the Malian defender has rejected City's offer a move to South Wales, in a blow to Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock, who is believed to be keen on adding defensive reinforcements to his squad before the close of the January window.

Having already missed out on a move for Nathaniel Clyne earlier in the month, Warnock is now believed to be ready to intensify the search for a new defender in the next 24 hours.


Having seemingly failed in their bid to land Toure, Cardiff appear to already be looking elsewhere, and have reportedly seen a €9 million bid knocked back by Lille for Turkish full-back Zeki Celik.

However, a move could yet still be on the cards.

That's according to French outlet Le 10 Sport, who claim that rather than closing the door on a potential deal, the French side have instead submitted a counter offer - one that could see the Bluebirds also land a striker.

As well as a higher price tag, Lille are reportedly willing to throw in former Chelsea forward Loic Remy on loan, with the club understood to be keen on cutting their wage bill.


Cardiff have not yet ruled out the possibility of accepting the Ligue 1 side's proposal, which would potentially give Warnock the full-back and striking option he's been looking for in this window.


Despite a disappointing loan spell at Crystal Palace, Remy has a proven pedigree in the Premier League, netting 22 goals in 58 games for Newcastle United and Chelsea.
